I went to get a full set and there was a gentleman who did them for me. I had some acrylic that needed to be taken off and the first one he ripped off and tore my nail down into the nail bed, I’m shocked it didn’t bleed. I asked him to find a different way to take them off. The whole service took over 2 hours. They were uneven and there was a hair stuck in the pinky nail and one of the tips wasn’t glued onto my finger leaving a gap between my nail and the acrylic, but I paid and tipped (I too work in the service industry so I believe tipping is important) even though I wasn’t stoked on the job done, he still provided a service. The next day the paint bubbled and started peeling off. I called to ask for my money back because after hurting me, spending 2 hours, uneven nails and now the paint peeling off not even 24 hours later I wanted my money back. She informed me that he doesn’t work there and he was just “helping” so she gave him the money already and couldn’t refund me. She said she’d fix them and I told her I didn’t want them fixed I just want my money back at this point. After trying to have a phone conversation I was yelled at then hung up on. I tried going into the salon the next day to where I was again yelled at, in front of multiple customers and told that if I didn’t like it I shouldn’t have tipped and she will not give my money back. I have never written a review for a business before, however I was treated so poorly that I feel like others should be aware. After sharing my experience I have been told by numerous people how they have also had negative experiences there and will never get their nails done...
Read moreMy daughter and I came in to get our nails done. We both wanted simple designs. All I needed was short square nails one solid color. My daughter got longer coffin nails only white. My daughter's nails were so lumpy and misshaped she ended up crying and they didn't charge us for hers, which I appreciated. My nails ended up so thin one of them broke the very next day. I showed her a weak spot in the acrylic when I was getting them all she did was put glue on the weak spot and dipped my finger in the acrylic powder. What do you know, that's the nail that broke today. They were also being very rude to my daughter telling us we need to go back to our regular nail place because they can't make her happy.
We made appointments for 4:00 p.m. and didn't get seen until about 4:30 to 4:45. They took their sweet time with the girls before us even taking pictures of the girl's nails on a furry piece of fabric because they looked so good. The next people were in waiting for their appointment minutes after we sat down. They rushed through our nails so fast the quality was horrible. Be warned, do not come here. My daughter and I agreed to never come back to this salon again we felt very unwelcome.
Response to owner... Sorry, but we will not be coming back. After reading other reviews it seems like overbooking is common practice at your establishment. I'm sticking to my regular nail salon. They care for us and...
Read moreVisited Perfect Nails for the 1st time about a week ago since I just recently moved back to the area (Lyman, but Sedro Is the closest town) and I am really glad that I did! I am very happy with the result. I got a full set of acrylics with painted on gel polish that is a BEAUTIFUL combo of lilac & periwinkle color with a hardly noticeable hint of sparkle. Regarding my experience, I am satisfied with how it went. I called at noon to make a 1:30pm appt. which was no problem and when I got there they began my nails immediately. No wait. Only two nail technicians working at the time and one client getting her nails done when I arrived. They had a wide range of gel polish colors to choose from, the nail tech was very positive, nice and personable. We laughed, gossiped and kept remarking on the Dr.Phil episode playing on the TV. She spoke easily understandable English as well which for me personally, has been an issue at most nail salons I have frequented. She was timely, gentle, and didn't make even one mistake. The price was great too, compared to other Nail shops in Skagit County. Plus I was told that it only costs $10 for a fill.. which I will definitely be going to get done in...
