I called before going in to check if they add hominy to their menudo and they said yes they can. So we drive there and I ordered and ask the waitress for Menudo with pata and hominy and when it can out she set it down and I asked where’s the hominy and pata, she like “oh they forgot” then come back to say that they ran out but that they were not going to charge me for the menudo (I DO NOT eat menudo without hominy!) but I didn’t want it to go to waste so I just ate what I could. At the end this guy come to the table and takes over as our server and brings the bill and charges us for the menudo, we ask why when she told us “no charge” the girl waitress never came back out when we asked and the guy he was insisting that she meant no charge for the “hominy” that they DIDNT EVEN GIVE ME! so why the hell would you charge me for something I didn’t have? The salsa made with Mexican oregano (yes it makes a difference) was very good too!!! I’ve NEVER been to a restaurant where they had not just one but three different taco sauces for your choosing. The red was a smoky red salsa perfectly balanced for the birria. The habanero had enough heat with just the right amount of citrus to balance the fish taco.
