Kirby's Korner Restaurant — Restaurant in Seguin

We visited Kirby’s two times this year and had bad experiences both times. My husband and I visited in February. My husband ordered the turkey burger with cheese, but it came with no cheese when he received his order. He brought his burger back to the counter but they blamed him for not ordering cheese (however he did order it because I heard him order it with cheese), made him pay for the cheese (less than $1) and then gave him a cold piece of cheese to put on his burger. This was such horrible customer service so we did not plan to return to Kirby’s. However, in August our family of 8 wanted to visit Kirby’s so my husband reluctantly agreed much to his regret. We tried to push 2 tables together so all 8 of us could sit together, but were rudely told we could not do that. We were told we had to sit at the one open table already setup for large party. They have two tables setup for large parties so we explained the other large table was occupied and we wanted to social distance, but the Kirby’s attendant did not care and just repeated that we could not push tables together so we reluctantly moved to the open large table that was no more than 2 feet from the other large occupied table. The restaurant was less than 30% occupied so it wasn’t like we were taking their last two open tables. As my husband was filling his cup at the drink fountain, the attendant came up and asked him “do you want to talk to me”. My husband replied “no” but the attendant repeated himself a couple of time until my husband finally said “stop pestering me”. We have never been treated so rudely by an establishment like this before. We will NEVER return to Kirby’s again after receiving such horrible customer service two times...

My partner and I have been here several times. I always enjoy the friendly staff and their eagerness to make customers happy. We went on Saturday around 3:30 -4:00 pm. It was not busy. The two lady’s that were up front were sweet as can be very kind. I asked the one who was taking our order if they could do a chicken fried steak baked potato ? They have a roasted chicken one and s chicken friend steak plate that the fries could be substituted for a potato so I thought it wouldn’t be a huge ordeal. She gladly turned to the cook I believe his name was nick... and said can you make a chicken fried steak potato..NO. Ummmmm okkkk so I ordered the plate substituted the fired and made my own. And FYI a member of management was standing there listening. So my partner orders a taco salad.. and a side of extra cheese ( for my potato) we didn’t get it so we asked the little girl hey we didn’t get the extra cheese. She kindly went back to get some and I hear the cook again with management back there I PUT EXTRA CHEESE .. we were sitting in the dinning area and clearly heard him. She brought it anyways. First there was a few sprinkles of cheese on the potato second we ordered a side cup. I honestly was so put off by the complete lack of customer service that that cook and management allowing it that I won’t be back for a good while. To the cook- your cooking customers food .. we as customers basically pay your check because if it wasn’t for us you wouldn’t be cooking anything.. hopefully he was having a bad day. Hopefully the manager who was on duty steps up and uses some authority.. I actually don’t believe the customer is always right .. but both need s course in customer service.. everyone is...

Well I will get right to it. Our first time here. Only 3 cars ahead of us in line a a couple waiting in the rear parking lot for their food to be delivered. And I have to say, they were pretty fast getting our food to us. Their system seems to work for them well. Friendly to take our order and Friendly to deliver it to us in that waiting area. She confirmed our order, and I can say it was all there. It was correct. Wahoo! We had the bacon cheese avocado burger meal with regular fries and Dr Pepper. The Tex burger meal with Cajun fries and a kids cheese burger meal. And a side of fried pickles. My Avocado bacon cheese burger pictured here was about as good as it gets. Really good. Fresh, good amount of toppings and the exact taste you are looking for. My only problem was the meat was a bit over cooked. Regular fries were a hit or miss. The seasoning was delicious on the fries but not all fries were seasoned. A few were perfect and a few were soggy. Kids cheese burger meal was very good. The tex burger was eaten before I could get a picture. So, I guess it's a thumbs up for that one. The fried pickles might be the best I ever had. Yes I said it. Shocking, we we too. We split an order, but next time I'll have to order more. The Cajun fries were a miss. Crunchy but without much flavor. I sampled 2 pieces and that was enough for me. Summary, if the burger was a bit less done, regular fries a bit more attention to, and not order the Cajun fries it would have been my first 5 star rating for a to go meal.
