I can't say how many times we have driven by but never thought to stop in and try the food out. We wanted to try someplace new but didn't want to drive 40 minutes to get there. I can say I was somewhat skeptical for some reason but went in as usual with an open mind. The menu was far bigger than I expected, which made it much harder to decide on what to eat. I jumped ship and have been craving nachos, so that is what I ordered. My mother got the burger and my spouse the Philly. The food came out and looked pretty good, with the exception of my nachos. The menu didn't say anything about jalapeno, so I was surprised when they were all over my nachos. I can't eat them, so I sent it back. I was surprised when they came back out quite quickly but later realized why. They took the jalapenos off and added more cheese to cover it up. Unfortunately for me, I could still taste them. Was not impressed. From my mom, the burger was great. Well cooked and seasoned. My spouse loved the Philly as well. I tasted them both, and they were very good. I will try something else next time as I'm sure we will be going back for a Philly soon.

This place was recommended by a friend and I definitely see why. Salad bar is fresh, crisp, and has a good selection. The chicken fried steak is one of the best I've had. So tender, no knife is needed and not all breading like many places. Even the tater and toast were on point. Amazing meal and service. Kayleigh my server and Maria were both great not to mention lovely. Will definitely go back. Next visit.. I'm back and ordered the bacon cheeseburger. Wow! Huge, Fresh, thick, and juicy on a buttered toasted bun. Even the fries are fresh hand cut. Next visit.. chicken fried steak sammich.. fantastic! Tender and seasoned perfectly with crisp veggies and Hand-cut fresh fries. This place is a hidden treasure!

While the food is normally good, it is not when ordering out. I ordered $70 worth of food and a lot was overcooked, sloppy, and they forgot my soup. It appears they were in a big rush so the quality was not good; didn’t put powdered sugar on my French toast, burnt my bacon, overcooked my biscuits, mutilated my cherry pie, they even burnt the bacon bits on my loaded potato and doused it with so much butter that it was leaking out of the box. There is gravy all over 2 of the boxes on the outside, incredibly sloppy, I’m not sure who is in charge of packaging orders but this needs to be addressed! The only positive thing I can say is that my chicken fried steak and the eggs were good.

Food is overpriced and not well done , the chili cheese fries GROSSSS , my daughter’s tiny grilled cheese didn’t even have the cheese fully cooked . Get this they even charge for to go containers… it was absolutely freezing yesterday gotta love eating and freezing even with jackets . Server never came back for me to mention I was missing a side or to offer refills or anything though at this point probably glad she didn’t for all I know we would be charged to refill our drinks too . All around terrible experience and won’t be back . I live in Braunfels and the drive out for this was NOT worth it at all . Was almost $14 just for our 4 drinks… INSANE 🤣 . Maybe our server made a mistake as we overheard her mess up someone else’s order and it had to be remade , maybe it’s just a careless place all together who...

My wife and I decided to go for a drive to Seguin and get something to eat there as well. I saw on Google a photo of the Chicken Fried Steak which is what made us go there. We ordered the Chicken Fried Steak with sides of broccoli, baked potato, green beans and also one trip to the salad bar. The waitress was very polite and courteous along with the rest of the Staff. They have plenty of parking, and wheelchair accessibility as well. Every dish we ordered was fresh and cooked to perfection. This is a good place to go for a quiet pleasant meal, a quick bite to eat. We agreed that this is a pleasant drive from San Antonio to the restaurant but the food is well worth the drive. If you're traveling through Seguin I definitely recommend you go and check it out. There are even Vegan options...
