We have been here a few times since it has opened. Every single time the wait is long and the order is not correct. Tonight's experience was an absolute joke. When we arrived at the drive thru it was a very long line. It took about 40 minutes from the time of arrival until we left the drive thru. Why is this place consistently slow? You need to hire better employees or more employees. If its a lack of employees upper management needs to get off their butt and get in to help! The food is never more than warm when you receive it. Why?! Tonight I ordered: 1 Biggie Bag with no onions on the burger, honey mustard sauce for the nuggets and a strawberry lemonade. The burger came with onions, no honey mustard and a large strawberry lemonade. I also ordered a 10 piece nugget meal with chocolate milk. This order came out correct. I also ordered 2 large drinks(1 lemonade, 1 tropical berry). We received the one large tropical berry. The biggie bag is supposed to come with a small drink but came with a large and 1 large was missed. Apparently the employees do not know what the meals come with or how to read an order. I on the other hand do not work their and I know! In addition to what I ordered I also received presumably the car behinds me order: 2 more fries, 2 more chicken nuggets and a burger. I have a hungry clan to feed, I do not feel like I should have to double check every single thing and then have to come back and stand in line to get what was missing when I do not realize it until we are almost home. Read moreApparently America is too lazy to hire people to type in an order or they can't multitask. Either way, the service industry is losing the main keyword in the 21 st century. They force you to use a screen but the next person they will help live instead of just simply asking you to wait for a minute while they finish dumping fries.
I guess it doesn't matter when they will still screw it up at the end of the day at some point whether it's poor quality, service or when a fast food place modifies your modified order.
It's tradition now. You can count on it.
While waiting for food, you can't help but look around at the way they have things set up. It's not very convenient. They need to look at Culvers or Arby's for offering a perfect set up on the condiment station. It's basic and uninspiring at most Wendy's today. I don't think Dave would approve of how his dream has been flushed.
Luckily, the burgers are always perfect, but the fries have no personality comparable to other joints (it's a competitive market - I don't think they understand that, and fries are the focus).
Their freestyle machine is dandy, but when it tastes more like water than soft drink, someone's cutting corners on many of their syrup mixes.

Read moreWithin a four week span and about 3 visits, I received the wrong burger twice. I live close by but the first time I didn't bother to go back. Just today 11/22/19, I ordered a Dave's triple w/o sauce among other items. I got home, gave the other items to my kids, opened mine up and they gave me a Dave's double WITH sauce. Because this was the second time within the last 3 visits I decided to go back to get the burger I ordered. I explained to one of the workers and she did apologize, while the Manager(some lady wearing a gray shirt) was remaking my burger she said "you get your fries?", not sure if she was trying to offer me fries for my troubles or if she was wondering if I got the fries I ordered, so I told her I got my fries. Something worth mentioning is that when I went in, the place was slow and the drive through wasn't very busy. I've worked in fast food my teen years and it's best practice to offer discounts or coupons for the customer's troubles and this was not observed at this location. I wasn't looking for free stuff, I just wanted to have my burger done right so I didn't care to mention the topic. I just told the apologetic employee it's okay as I was leaving.
