Wendy's — Restaurant in Shamokin

Chalk it up as your typical slum City fast food joint. Employees are miserable and unorganized, the food is decent in the early hours of the day but late nights you're guaranteed to have a lot of mistakes or missing items especially if you get delivery. Let's not forget to mention that this particular location has been shut down and remodeled several times due to the fact that they have roaches. The health inspector, the many calls have been placed, has yet to show up. The employees are told to be hush hush. But if you're hungry for a baconator... And your in town and it's late... This is the only option. They frequently run out of cheese sauce and they don't care if they don't get it to you. I'm a sucker for their fries though so I still eat there and will continue to do so. Their breakfast is super tasty. One day maybe they'll get consistent management and a little more pride in what they do for their occupations and step it up. Even after a remodel, their salads consist of wilted lettuce and your guaranteed to get an attitude from the speaker when you go through the drive-thru If they even answer.

Also be warned that Wendy's of Shamokin is a hotspot hang out, so there are frequently crimes assaults and other unfortunate happenings several times today. Don't forget about the shady characters that just hang out there to use...

Every time I order at drive thru, dine in, carry out or delivery theres never any chocolate frostys. They are always out and I dont know ahead of time to go elsewhere because the menus website or app never lets you know and still allows you to choose chocolate. It's very disappointing that I get stuck with vanilla which I hate and it goes to waste. Chocolate and vanilla should always be available since they are classic and standard flavors and a staple of Wendy's. At the very least I should know before ordering so I can choose to cancel and go somewhere else. It doesn't end with frostys at this Wendy's. Everytime I order, something is missing either nuggets, fries or hot sauce or chili or even a sandwhich. It seems they can never complete any order I place. They are always out of items or forget items and when you call to complain they are willing to fix it but you have to drive there to do so, instead of a credit or money back or a voucher or something. No they want you to drive back let the food you do have get cold waste time and gas for them to fix their mistake. Something needs done to fix these problems. I have never had so many issues with a place before. I've been understanding and sympathetic of low staff or being busy but this is at a point...

We got 5 Biggie Bags yesterday and it was the worst fodd ever. All of the burgers were dark and dry and the buns stale tasting. We put the bags in a thermal bag We carry for hot or cold items and the food was cold after a 10 minute drive home. We've gotten Baconators and Bourbon Burgers that were good in the past, but lately the food is not good. 4 cars behind us left because you had to have exact change or a debit card. I think next time I will just go to McDonalds where I know my food will be hot and fresh. We were also short on items ordered. The food all came out in one bag, and my daughter said I ordered 5 Biggie Bags and the girl that brought the food after 10 minutes said " YOU DIDN'T SAY YOU WANTED THEM IN SEPARATE BAGS". Don't 5 Biggie meals come in separate bags, that's the way we got them the last 2 times. THEY NEED TO GET THAT...
