After exploring countless Indian restaurants around Columbus, I can confidently say that Curry Kabab Handi Biryani delivers one of the most authentic and satisfying dining experiences in the city.
From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel genuinely welcome. The service was warm, attentive, and quick — a refreshing change from many casual spots. They knew the menu well and offered great recommendations based on my taste preferences.
Now, let’s talk food — the biryani here is a true standout. The rice was aromatic and fluffy, with every grain infused with bold spices and layered perfectly with tender, flavorful meat. You can taste the care in every bite. I also tried their curries, which were rich, creamy, and beautifully balanced — not overly oily, and just the right amount of heat.
The kabab dishes were grilled to perfection, juicy on the inside with a charred outer finish that added depth. It's clear the kitchen knows what they’re doing when it comes to spice and technique.
The ambiance is clean and simple — more functional than fancy — but it’s comfortable and welcoming. If they ever refresh the décor or add a bit more atmosphere, this spot could easily become one of the city’s top Indian dining destinations.
One suggestion for the future: it would be great to see a few more vegetarian and vegan options on the menu to broaden the appeal, as well as some creative or fusion items to keep things fresh.
All in all, Curry Kabab Handi Biryani is a hidden gem. Whether you’re craving an authentic biryani, flavorful curry, or a warm, satisfying meal — this is a place you’ll want to come back to. Highly recommended for anyone who loves real...
Read moreTo the incredible team at Curry Kabab Handi Biryani: My husband and I experienced your weekend buffet, and it wasn't just a meal; it was a masterpiece. From the moment we stepped inside, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of genuine warmth and the tantalizing aroma of authentic Desi cuisine. The buffet was a symphony of flavors, a culinary journey that transported us straight to the heart of India. Each dish was a testament to your commitment to quality and authenticity. The goat Karahi, with its rich and complex flavors, the perfectly cooked chicken tikka, and the delightful samosa chaat were simply divine – the best we've ever had. The presentation was exquisite, showcasing the passion and artistry that goes into every creation. But what truly set Curry Kabab Handi Biryani apart was the exceptional service. Your staff treated us like family, anticipating our needs and ensuring our complete satisfaction. It's clear that you've cultivated a team that shares your dedication to excellence. Read moreIt was our first time there during the Sunday after-Eid Buffet. The food was amazing, and the place was nice and clean. Plenty of dishes were available for vegetarians and halal meat lovers alike.
There were lots of people, but since the place is big, it didn't seem too packed or crowded. The place was kept immaculately clean around the buffet and the tables, and even the bathrooms were nice and clean, with plenty of soap and paper towels. They also have high chairs for little ones.
The food itself was exquisite, from the Chicken Biryani to Goat Korma, Chicken Tikka, and Naan. The desserts were also available at the buffet. The warm halwa and the cold Kheer (rice pudding) combo was like cocaine for the taste buds.
The service was very polite and friendly. Omar and his other workmate were there at perfect timings, never over or under-asking if we needed anything. By the way, we were told that all this delicious food was made by Omar's Mom. Thank You, Aunty Ji! I loved her food!
Overall, I can't find anything negative to say about the place. Even the check for 2, who completely gorged themselves, came to under $50 altogether. We're told that the buffet is available from Friday to Sunday. The Friday buffet is on the lighter side, with no extra tables, but the weekend buffet is super duper. Try it out. We did, and absolutely...
