The place is like a novel that is about to happen. It's like America in the 1950s all over again. Once you become a regular -- it doesn't take long -- they are happy to see you. They will call you by your first name. There are a lot of working people who come in there for lunch and middle management types with ties and shirts with rolled-up sleeves. They come there because the food is great and the servers are amazing. The servers draw happy pictures on your check saying thank you. You can watch them cook; it's a diner. I usually get a Greek Salad but the hamburgers and fries are great. So are the Gyros with the Tzatziki. Coffee is bottomless and you have to tell them to stop! Got there around 11:30. My buddy and I, ordered a gyro with extra meat and fries. I asked the waitress to make my fries extra crispy and she said she would. The food was out to us, within five minutes. The pita bread was cold and so was the gyro meat. The Taz sauce was right at the very top of the euro. It was dry and was not worth even eating. When I asked the waitress to take off the cost of the extra meat she said I was attacking her. Real simple. You are the middleman between the customer and the cook\the owner! If you don't love fresh and fabulously crafted small diner style sandwiches and gyros.. walk on by. Only open 10-4 Monday thru Friday becauae whn you hustle and flow like this 30 hpurs a week is all you need to do. If you like crinkle cut fries like a real snob.. the Greek Fries are a must. If heaven doesn't have these fries, I don't wanna go When you have a following of loyal customers.. you don't over charge to fit in or try to bw cool.
