Busy B's Donuts — Restaurant in Shawnee

I stopped here after looking for a donut shop close to my Atty, Greg Wilson. I picked up a dozen for his office, minutes before my appt with Greg. The staff at Busy B's were 2 of the sweetest, friendliest, most kind people ever! I mentioned that I came here to OK, from Orlando, FL , to help my ailing mom back in July. I asked for a restroom as they were preparing the dozen. The bathroom was very clean and well stocked. I paid for my order and noticed there was a "bag" on top of the dozen box. Confused, I questioned this, and he simply said, "Oh! smile Those Are Just For You. smile". I just thought that was the sweetest thing. ALSO... A 2nd added bonus, the included many "donut holes" throughout the box! lOl If I could rate them higher than a "5-star", I certainly would have!!! THANK YOU BUSY B'S! I so...

Stopped in Shawnee to visit the Potawatomi museum on the way to see family and saw this donut shop. Little did I know they would legitimately the BEST DONUTS I have tasted. The lovely woman running the store convinced me to try the blueberry donut and it was insanely good and I don't normally enjoy donuts like those! Also bought a chocolate glazed and it was just as amazing, super soft and perfectly melty and not chewy like some can be! The best chocolate donut I've had, I swear. I'm seriously considering driving an hour & a half out of the way on our return trip to come back here because they were THAT delicious! Very seldom do I give a five (5) star rating. However, this place absolutely and honestly earns theirs. Staff, friendly and quick. Most know their guests by name after a few visits. They have always greeted my wife and I with nothing shy of a warm family smile. Store, clean and easy to pull in and out. Coffee is always hot and fresh. Prairie Fire for those wondering. Also, they have other drinks there. Now, food. Those damn doughnuts are perfect and the croissants are perfectly made to add egg, cheese and sausage or ham or bacon.

Price, everyones concern now a days with Inflation...... So cheap you'll ask for more doughnuts.
