Sarpino's Pizzeria Shawnee — Restaurant in Shawnee

Save yourself time, effort, money, aggravation, and indigestion by ordering from anywhere but Sarpino's!!!! I've ordered pizza for delivery to hotels all across the country, and never have I had such a total letdown, literally no redeeming qualities!!!! Started order by calling, early evening. Put on hold, then we didn't have the address at the ready, (never has a local pizza place not instantly known the address for our hotel) so the guy abruptly says, just order online, and there will be discount codes. Completed order online, code failed, so no discount, credit card declined for no reason. Called back on cell, they immediately repeated hotels address, ( how???) Hmmmmm, order placed, card accepted, advised it will be one and 1/2 hours till delivery........two hours plus later, we get delivery.....no wings.....called immediately, put on hold, we were very polite about it and the guy says, well I'm getting conflicting stories.....EXCUSE ME?????? He offered store credit......totally unacceptable, we're not local, and will NEVER order from them again. Finally says well, we could deliver wings in 45 minutes, basically our only option. It's already after 9 oclock........... 2 1/2 hours later we had given up and gone to bed, it's 11:30 by now ........knock on door, wings delivered. Worst experience ever with a delivery. And the food in no way helped...

We have ordered from Shawnee, KS Sarpino's almost every Friday night for at least a year. On average, we spend about $40 each week, including tip. They've forgotten salads on a couple of occasions - which isn't that big a deal - but the last time we ordered (June 24th), they ruined our relationship for good. They didn't send dressing with a salad. We called and were told: "the order said no dressing". We assured them that we've used the "Order your Favorite" for the last 10-15 weeks, and don't ever change the order. They said "well, it's your fault." We asked, "How? - since we just selected or Favorite, like always". The guy we talked to was a total douchewhistle, and said they'd get a dressing to us in 45 minutes. We discovered that the website was the problem, not us. When the driver showed up with the dressing - he realized that Sarpino's was trying to charge us for it. He assured us that he wasn't going to collect. We then showed him how we ordered, and he saw how it changed stuff when looking in "the cart". He was surprised. My girlfriend didn't use the dressing, because we didn't trust that it wasn't spit in or stirred with a certain part of the male anatomy. She made her own dressing, and began to eat the salad. I usually eat there everyother day I work nights in Lexana , KS so they was a good idea at the time .
