I have visited this location at least two times a week. I spent between $5-$20 dollars each time. Not much, or you would think. An average of $30 a week, for one year is $1560.00. If you lost an average of 20 customers that spend the same amount of money as I did, you will loose an average of $31200.00 a year. I stopped at this location because of the convenience and you are located near my home. After today, I will never stop at this location again. I pulled up, no one in the car hops, went to the drive through, after waiting five minutes, no one said anything. Not even a “I will be right with you”. I pulled around to the window. Found two workers with their head out the window speaking to another customer. After this person left I pulled up, to the window closed. A young lady opened the window and said “what do you want”. I ordered what I came to get. While watching her make the drinks, I observed seven other workers inside just standing around. After getting my order, she took my credit card, said “I will be right back”. She walked to a location where I did not see her. When she came back seconds later, she stopped at the window, talking to another worker for an additional five minutes before giving my card back. Not one time did this individual apologize, smile or even thank me. Remember, the purpose you are there, that is, us, your customers. Remember, your customer is the purpose for your day. What’s going to happen when your customers begin going somewhere else? Before long, with the service and consistent complaints your location is getting, your doors will close soon.
Update, upon completing this review, I received a call from the GM at the Sonic located neer OBU. Wow, 9:30pm at night, I am impressed and felt cared for! She truly cared, apologized in regards to the experience and concerned about the inconsistency of the customer service the Brand is delivering. You got my service going forward! Thank you so much...

They were raw when I got home Plum across town which was over 5 Mi away so I tried to call and they said I did not come through that place and I was like yeah I did come through and so I had to drive back up there they never gave me a receipt so I had to show them on my cash app where I paid they never apologized on the phone or when I drove in. So I was pretty upset and with no apology she ask so do you want the burgers or your money. I said well i wanted the burgers and you shpuld throw in a drink for all my troubles. She rudely said we will make your burgers with a snarl and closed the window. so I yelled out at her a foul name and said never mind give me my money back and I'll go elsewhere. Then i ask for my coupon in which she says they throw away. I said well i cant leave without it and she went and got it and brought it to me. From my recollection sonic used to have a pouch they put them in and send them back to corporate but maybe the 4 sonics i worked at over the years were not owned by the same ppl. I recommend this person not be a manager because she definitely does not know how to handle complaints. Has horrible customer service. Said she looked through the orders and mine was not there bc i said they did not give me a receipt but she had the receipt when i showed her my cashapp showing i paid. Read moreI am a type 1 diabetic and have to closely monitor the amount of carbohydrates in the foods/drinks that I consume. If I cannot or am unable to do this, I will experience dangerous blood sugar levels that have the potential to land me in the hospital. To simplify this process, I usually order diet drinks, which usually contain 0 carbohydrates.
This evening, I placed an order for a diet cherry limeade and a regular limeade in the sonic app. Upon receiving my order, neither drink was marked with the diet tab pressed down on the lid. I asked the car hop if she knew which one was diet, and she said she did not before walking away.
Because of this, there was no way for me to safely consume either beverage with certainty that I was drinking the right one. Should I have chosen to do so and been wrong, it could have meant a medical emergency for me. I elected to not drink either drink, making this purchase 1. A waste of time 2. A waste of money.
