Frustrating and Unprofessional Experience
I had a terrible experience at the Staples store in Shawnee. I called ahead to inquire about a specific Canon printer ink, provided the exact model, and was assured by a woman on the phone that there was one left in stock. I even asked her to double-check since I would be driving 40 minutes one way to get there. She promised it was available.
However, when I arrived, there was no ink in the store. When I asked why I was told it was in stock, one woman claimed it might have been a "new employee" who had already left for the day. I asked to speak with the manager, who insisted that no one working that day had spoken to me. She also stated there were only two women working all day, no one had left the job, and she didn’t know who could have talked to me.
I don’t know who was lying, but I wasted two hours driving and dealing with the manager and the woman worker. Their names were Jordan and Kyler. Both women were rude and disrespectful throughout the situation. I will never shop at this Staples location again and cannot recommend...

My wife called the store and Jocelyn at the print desk helped her. Jocelyn was incredibly helpful. She walked us through how to order them online so she could print a sample one for us. That way we could see what the final product would look like. That kind of customer service is very important to me. Especially these days with all the employee shortages. Jocelyn was just as nice and attentive in person even though they were busy when we got to the store. On top of all that the cards came out great 👍🏻. We were so pleased that when we went home we decided to order return address labels as well. Good customer service and good prices will always win my business. THANK YOU JOCELYN...
Read moreI would give zero stars if it would allow me to. Issue was the self serve copy machines, we spent close to $1,000 on copies...one machine kept jamming, so they put an out of service sign on it and were then told that if we ran out of paper in the machine that we would be out of luck, because they didn't think they had any more paper. Really? We did run out of paper on the last file we were coping, another staff member was more helpful...and about 20 minutes later we had paper. This could have easily been resolved by staff getting/looking for paper when they knew the machine was low on paper. Obviously the staff working in the print department could careless... due to them not restarting the other machine, we would also have to allow other customers to use the machine we were using in order for faxes to be sent and small print...
