We went to the location in Shawnee Oklahoma 6-3-2021. We put in an online order and selected to pick up at the counter assuming that since that was an option the lobby must be back open…. We get there on time for the pick (8:23pm) up go to the door and it was locked… okay no big deal went to the drive through. Sat in the slow line and finally got to the speaker and advised we had an order for pick up. The young lady I believe her name was Kayla confirmed and asked us to park out front and someone would be out shortly with our order. We sat there for 30 minutes watching car after car after car leave. I drive back around to the drive thru and saw a lady inside so drove back around to park. Had I not already paid for my food I would have simply left and went somewhere else. So I go inside the side door and they were understandably short staffed as a lot of locations are right now. No big deal I’m pretty patient. Get in there and after a few minutes got acknowledged by the manager asking about my order told him my name and said I had been out side for 30 minutes as I had been instructed to do. The lady inside was waiting for essentially the same order and they made a comment in the back leading her to say “I am sorry I have 6 kids to feed 7 including myself” they just laugh and say “nah it’s all good “ I saw four people the manager two male employees and a female. All openly voicing their disgust of a “white boy” who left to get his girl with no disregard for anyone else. All complaining to the manager that they do not have any sides what do they do for the manager to answer “why y’all asking me” all while cracking jokes not taking anything seriously. Again I get the stress of being short staffed I heard them say their card reader was down and that adds to the stress. What really got me and caused me to call corporate and write this review was when I was watching the young man moving as slow as molasses making our sides they were out of the girls looks at him and says “just spit in it” EXCUSE ME?!?! I stepped over and watched him to ensure nothing like that happened and I think she realized I heard her because she made it a point to stay out of my view. As I told corporate I am a very patient person and I am not one of those covid fear mongrels I just find it absolutely disgusting to suggest or even joke about such a thing. No apologies were made to us whom were waiting nothing Just how horrible things were for them. There is no number for the corporate office for that location nor for the owner’s office. Only number available is the Restaurant’s number, so you’re gonna report or issues to the same people that you have an issue with and nothing will ever be done!
Does everyone else noticed that the response from the owner is the same response to every review? This is a big clue that tells you it is A robot that’s replying to you. Instead of the owner Having a conversation with you about the Issue at hand, you simply get a violin comment and asking you to come back again! The owner needs to hire better team members and management in this restaurant! Customer service is very important, And how you Interact with a customer and having fast friendly service is very important. When an issue arises, it is the manager’s duty Do his or her best to modify the situation and make sure the customer leaves, satisfied and happy! Yes, there are customers you cannot please, but at the end of the day when you instill these tools into your job, you can walk away knowing you did everything you could to make that customer happy! Read more, great chicken, when you can get it, been inside 2x and it's the same story, sorry we are out of chicken it will be 20 minutes, unless you show up after 6 pm and the story is sorry we are out of chicken as in we are not cooking any more this evening, 3 hours before closing. And parked I eventually was ask by the manager what my order was she did not even know , around the 30 minute mark a employee showed up with my food.
