Bricktown Brewery — Restaurant in Shawnee

This was my first time here but it definitely won't be the last time. Every single criteria that I base my opinion on, here... was absolutely perfect. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the people were so very nice!! Every thing was very clean. I, personally, loved the craft beers. I loved it all. But I have to talk about what I was really there for. The food!! 1st, the service... My girl was so cute. I wanted to take her home as a new daughter. She was engaging and very helpful in making menu choices. I wanted to order it all. My food came out piping hot or perfectly chilled.

The produce was fresh. Every single bite was S000000 good. Items, that at other places I do not like, I loved here. There's just too much to say about how very good it all was and not enough words. Everything was so good. I ate too much and was stuffed long before my mouth was finished tasting. The prices were reasonable and the portions were more than generous. The general manager even came to our table to offer us a free appetizer as our food was taking a little longer than normal and apologized for the delay in our food. This was truly great service. We don’t normally come this way headed home from the lake. We will for sure now. Thank you Bricktown Shawnee for a great experience and thank you Maddy and the general manager I forgot his name....

My friends and I decided to eat here last night, well my ID had a tear on the upper corner. The bar tender check our ID's I just ordered a water about 10 mins later we order food once my last friend arrives. After all that time the manager comes up to me and tells me that she understands my ID is tore. So I pull it out and show her, she states being that it is tore I cant sit at the bar and would like to move us to a table. She stated it could have been tampered with. My complaint is that I was not ordering alcohol, I had been there for almost 20 mins before being asked to move and the dates and pic were valid and visible. I am 35 years old and regardless I know I look old enough to sit at the bar, I could understand if I had tried to order alcohol not being able to serve me. I will say just because the manager smiles when she says it didn't make it any less embarrassing. I have never had trouble with my ID and I have never written a review on any restaurant, but I feel as if it was a little extreme and...

UPDATE 11.17.25: always an enjoyable meal. A bit busier than normal for a Tuesday. Steak was good, as was the coleslaw. I know doneness for steamed broccoli is subjective, fresh broccoli takes a little time. Last couple of times I have had it, it was raw.

UPDATE 12.16.23: I was somewhat disappointed in my French Dip sandwich today. While the flavor was good, I had to remove more than half the meat because it had been cut with the grain instead of across the grain, leaving it impossible to bite. Attached to it was some pretty dense connective tissue as well. Once that was removed it tasted good but obviously the bread to meat ratio was way off then. The sweet potato fries were good a usual. My friend's okra was undercooked, unfortunately.

Service was excellent.

PREVIOUSLY: Food and service are the best I have had since moving back to Shawnee. You can't go wrong with the burgers and the meatloaf...
