Ella's Dela Delicatessen — Restaurant in Sheboygan

This place was amazing. My first impression was when I got there, I was a little early before they opened about 10 minutes. I tried the door because I had never been there and wasn’t sure when they opened. I was walking back to my car and a lady came out and opened the door to let me in. Most places don’t open their door early, they definitely have great customer service. The inside is very clean and they staff was super friendly. I had the philly cheese steak (pictured below), and I was not disappointed. The ingredients were super fresh the bread soft but not soggy, and tons of meat which is my favorite. I would recommend not to waste your time going to Subway or Jimmy John’s skip the disappointment and go straight to Ella’s Dela. I will return soon to try there other sandwiches and soups. They definitely deserve 5 stars and have the sandwich I had was the best I’ve had...

I'm not lying when I say this is not only the best sandwich shop in wisconsin, if not the country. I'm 22 and have been coming here for about 14 years with a hiatus due to false rumors it was closed! I was in town and took my chances to call and Cassidy, my homegirl, literally went above and beyond because of my love for this shop to get me my sandwich. Thank you to the driver, and thank you to Cassidy, all of you working that night deserve a raise based on that customer service. I should be in Sheboygan at some point soon and I'm coming to say a personal thank you if given the chance (I'll be working!) Philly steak sub was extremely greasy, not nearly enough meat or especially veggies, meat was generic, and thus the american cheese overpowered everything. The only good thing was the bread, but not great since it was drenched in grease. I've gotten subs from this place a couple times in the past and they were good, so I picked here to order from instead of another place. I won't be making the same mistake again. I only wish I had read the other reviews mentioning lack of masks worn in there; I never would have even considered supporting this business again with that...
