I would actually give them a 3.5/3.75 if Google would let me. We tried it for the first time and it was just average. The good: They are really good at loading their toppings on the pizza so you get some of everything in each bite. The price is very reasonable considering how much you get. Unfortunately, the bad outweighs the good. We ordered the garlic cheese dippers, which tasted nothing like garlic, but rather all I could taste was rosemary. It does come with a good amount of cheese, but the garlic is a very subtle after taste and rosemary slaps you in the face. They were great and let us do a 1/2 and 1/2 pizza. On one side we did the Meat Head and the other half Ultimate Hawaiian. Unfortunately, with both of them having bacon bits instead of real bacon on them the bacon bits get extremely dry when they get cooked in the oven. It makes for a very unpleasant chewing experience. If they were to put the bacon bits on afterwards or towards the end of cooking then they wouldn't dry out so much and it would be much better. On the ultimate Hawaiian the onions were too powerful. With them using so much toppings on you just tasted it in every bite. Next time I will ask them to maybe use them more sparingly throughout the pizza. Lastly, not that it's a bad thing, but they definitely don't use a lot of sauce on their pizza so if you're one that likes a good amount of sauce you may need to...
Read moreFirst, I'm from New England where real pizza is made. So, cheese heads, pay attention!
This is probably one of the best and closest thing to east coast pizza I've ever had in Wisconsin. This mini pizza was delicious, and a perfect size for a husky guy like me on a diet (after I already ate some chicken fried rice from the farmer's market... honestly I just wanted pizza).
Excellent sauce to cheese to crust ratio.
Caution: the "spicy" sausage isn't spicey by east coast standards, so i was both let down and happy that I wouldn't be coughing and trying to clear my throat going back to work. There wasnt any cheddar cheese (pizza should never come with cheddar... so they know something!), and I don't understand why green peppers are so popular instead of red peppers. Oh well.
This Peobody's special was packed with flavor, cooked fast (12 minutes when I was told 15), and very affordable. I'd give it 4 stars, but the guy was friendly and this is Wisconsin, so it gets 5.
But my taste buds are now salivating for the reviews of their taco pizza....
Read moreMy family recently suffered a great loss and needed to ordee food to feed about 60 people after a funeral. We believe in supporting small businesses so Peabody's is who we called. The man that answered the phone was extremely rude and acted as if we were bothering him. When we started the order he very abrasive said "I'll pass" and ended the conversation abruptly. No explanation given. Needless to say they lost a lot of customers and lost a big chunk of revenue. We called Luigis resturant after this and they were so amazing and helped us during a very difficult time when what we needed was something to go easily. Never again will we be ordering from Peabody'again. You're in the service industry why treat people they way you did? If you couldn't accommodate the order you should have been more...
