My family and I have visited this new location a few times and have been pleased with each visit. I'm surprised by the negative reviews and, while I don't typically review fast food places (we all know what to expect), thought it important to leave a positive review after my last interaction with this location.
My family visited this location during their first week of opening. We found the restauraunt to be extremely busy and the staff did an excellent job of getting people in and out in a timely manner. When we got home, we unfortunately didn't have everything that we ordered in the bag. Because it's a new location and staff are still learning their roles, we weren't so miffed by this experinece that we wouldn't give them another chance. I contacted the store owner by using the Popeye's website and communicated to him the experience and asked if he were able to send a coupon or voucher to replace the missing items.
The store owner went above and beyond. He offered to replace our entire order (3 meals!) at no charge. When I went to the store location a few weeks after, he was working the register and remembered me from our e-mail exchange. He kept his promise, even though I again insisted that they didn't need to replace EVERYTHING, and made us three meals at no charge.
We've since dined at this location two additional times and never had an issue. They've never missed another item, never been out of anything, and never been anything but kind to us. I'm confident that should I have an issue again, if I simply LET THEM KNOW about it, they'll fix it. The negative reviews for this business are surprising and I'm certain that the reviewers made no attempt to bring their issues to the attention of management or ownership or they would have had a wonderful resolution. Not only is this location still extremely new (everyone is new and still learning!), they've told me that they're understaffed. A little bit of grace to a locally owned, trying-their-best new restauraunt would go a long way. Read moreTried to stop into this newer location for a quick lunch. In the drive through the woman taking our order repeatedly spoke over us. You could hear she had a big old attitude. It happens, right? As she tried to correct our basic order I asked about a combo deal. She ignored my question or didn't hear me. After she was done talking I asked again. She then rudely answered me and corrected me for calling the chicken patty a burger...okay? Then she gives me my total even though we weren't done ordering. Mind you we were trying to order two meals. I said "hey" no answer. My passenger said "hello?". No answer. My passenger then said "hey, we weren't done ordering dude?" She heard that because she immediately replied and said in the most childish voice "Oh, I'm sorry I didn't realize you weren't done ordering duuuuuude". We just kind of looked at each other like oh wow. I then said "we don't really apricate the attitude" to which this large late middle-aged woman said "well then I guess you can get your food somewhere else goodbye!"
My passenger went inside to speak to the manager. After waiting patiently in line low and behold she was the MANAGER! She was kicking around bags, dropping stuff, huffing, puffing, just being rude and when asked if she took the order she immediately popped off. How childish? My friend who went in just snapped a quick photo of her name tag and went to leave. She then proceeded to scream about how it is illegal to take her photo, which it is in fact not. As my friend was walking out she was yellling and telling her to "LEAVE, GET OUT!" etc. She is disgustingly rude and her behavior is a disgrace not only for her advanced age but your company. Take a look at your reviews. She's clearly an issue. She needs to be let go. She'd be better in a bar.....or therapy. Safe to say we will not be...
Read moreI placed an online order and I was able to choose my pick up time. I set my pick up time for an hour after I was placing my order. When I got there, I was told I was just going to have to wait. A bit rude but I shrugged it off. There were a few orders with mine but my order number was the first one. All of the other orders were packed before mine and put on the counter for others to come pick it up. I stood there for an additional 30 minutes, just waiting for my food to be packed, while I saw all the chicken just sitting there, under the heat lamps. Please tell me WHY, when I placed my order for a specific time and gave more than enough time to have my order ready, why it wasn't waiting for me when I got there. Sides are already packed, waiting to just be grabbed and bagged. I didn't think it should have taken over 1.5 hrs to pack 16 pieces of chicken. Not to mention, I had ordered an additional 2 piece that was missing from my order. I asked the lady at the counter if she put the 2 pieces in the boxes I had. She looked at me dumbfounded then just threw 2 pieces in a box and handed it to me. Please. If I am placing an order and giving you an hour notice of when I'm picking up my order, I'd like it to be able to walk in and just pick it up. I should not have had to wait an additional 30 minutes just so you could throw my chicken in the boxes and give me 3 large mashed potatoes.
