As a vegetarian, Burger King has been my go-to place for a quick and satisfying meal. Their impossible Whopper has always been a reliable choice, and their two entrées deal is a great value. I can't express how thankful I am that it has stayed on the menu considering all the other fast food joints have taken their veggie options off theirs. However, my recent drive-thru experience left me feeling frustrated, and I think it's important to share my thoughts.
During my visit to the Shelby location, I encountered a setback that left me disappointed. When I reached the drive-thru window to pay, I was informed that they weren't serving onion rings or mozzarella sticks. I was a little bummed but they weren't what I came for, so it was no biggie. I put in my order like usual and then was told at the window while paying the impossible whopper is not availabl either. It came as a surprise since it wasn't that late in the evening and I had been looking forward to it.
While I understand that restaurants may have policies regarding limited menu options based on the time of day, I believe it would greatly enhance the customer experience if Burger King reconsidered this approach. As a vegetarian, having a extremely limited set of options makes finding somewhere to eat difficult and having the best of those options taken off the table along with the other meatless items like onion rings and mozzmakes its almost impossible (pun intended).
To the hardworking nightshift employees, I know yall aren't to blame and are following company policies. My frustration is not directed at you, as I know you are doing your best to serve customers. However, I encourage Burger King's decision-makers to reconsider their policies and find a way to provide a consistent menu throughout the day, including their veggie options.
As a loyal vegetarian customer, I hope Burger King recognizes the importance of meeting the needs and expectations of customers like myself. By reevaluating their policies, they can create a more enjoyable drive-thru experience and establish themselves as a reliable choice for vegetarians seeking a quick and satisfying meal.
In conclusion, while I experienced disappointment due to the limited veggie options available during my drive-thru visit, I believe Burger King has the potential to make positive changes. By rethinking their policies and offering consistent menu options throughout the day and evening, they can better serve their vegetarian customers and create a more satisfying drive-thru experience overall. If those changes were made, I'd happily change my rating to 4 stars because the fries could use a little improvement. I'm just kidding....kind of, but I would make it 5 stars if a change was made about the menu options not being taken away...
Read moreThey fixed the place up, added a 2nd drive through which would be great if they knew how to use both of them at the same time. I was in line for at least 40 minutes if not more. Waited at least 10 minutes at window, someone came over the intercom stating wait or hold on and I’m sorry. Never came back, but the 2nd drive waited on at least 5 cars that came after me. Even got the 2nd line gone for a minute then instead of switching over to the first line to take my order waited until a new vehicle came to the 2nd line. I had a bunch of people lined up behind me as well. I understand new and opening again and probably had a lot of new employees or short staffed I get that. But take turns with the drive through windows if you’re going to have 2. Close one if you can’t handle running both. I left and unless I hear better things won’t be going to that...
Read moreThese ppl handed me someone else's food through the drive thru and took it back because I was honest. Used to be once it went out it wasn't allowed to come back to be given to someone due to safety protocol. Not these days. The food was nothing to write home about especially being $14 for a #2. We only stopped here because we used to coming back from Charlotte which was what we were doing. I bet that other persons bag of food cost nearly $50. Not worth the wait nor the price and I probably won't go back. These guys asked my name several times and still got it wrong and didn't even give me my drink. Had to correct them on that as well. Im done with these over priced fast food joints. Totally not...
