If we could give a minus 10 we would. This place is just AWFUL! We ordered our food on the app while we were in one of their bay parking spots with only one other person that was already there parked & one person in the drive thru & we counted seven people working there that evening. It took them 25 minutes to make & give us our order. The deluxe hamburger was absolutely tasteless. It's like the burger patty had no seasoning let alone tasting like it had ANY nutritional value to it. So I gave it to my hubby to eat & then ordered me one beef hotdog only, which I ordered from the app again. BIG MISTAKE! And since it took 25 minutes to get our first order I should have just gone home & found something to eat there because I thought since by that time there was absolutely no one there surely they could make one small hotdog up fast. Nope, they could not. We waited 25 minutes parked with no order in site. We finally called them & they said they would be right back with us & put us on hold. Seriously, no one was there, but us at this point. Finally we saw a bunch of cars come in & we decided to go thru the drive-thru to get my order. It took another 15 minutes to get up to the window. So a total of 40 minutes to get my chili cheese all beef hotdog. The hotdog was still warm because they just made it when we drove up to the window. And it tasted good too. They did apologize, but I think after waiting 40 minutes for a hotdog they should had gave us our money back too. Also & I don't know how this is even sanitary they had one of the employees two kids who came into the their restaurant running all around in there. Not only is that unsanitary because they were touching stuff & most kids don't wash their hands, but it's unsafe to have two little kids inside a restaurant where your cooking stuff. But this will probably just fall on death ears where the Sonic company is concern. No one cares about the people who keep your company in business. But with this kind of horrible service you won't...
Read moreI wish I could give this rating a zero. I went to sonic on September 19, 2019 at 12pm and had bad customer service. The woman at the drive through took five minutes to say anything to us or take our order. Once she started taking out order she was rushing us and being rude. We then went to the window to get our food and it was wrong and missing a item. She gave us our food and didn’t come back to the window. She didn’t not ask us did we need anything else or nothing. We sat at the window for 2 to 3 minutes for someone to come to the window and see what we needed it. It was a gentleman standing near the window but never came to the window. My friend got out the car and went to the door at the front to tell them they got our food wrong but she gave him attitude and told us they fixed it they way we asked but they didn’t. We gave her the burgers back to redone and they was still wrong. We again advised her they was still wrong and she didn’t want to her nothing we had to say. We was trying to tell her what we supposed to be on them and she was not trying to listen. She told us we couldn’t have our money back or get any food back when they made the mistake with our order. She was yelling at us and being very rude. She finally gave us our refund and told us not to come back. She needs to be fired because she has no good customer service or listening skills. Read moreSo, we use to love Sonic, even when the service wasn't perfect. But within the last year it's really gone down hill. I can understand having a hard time during dinner rush, but when there's nobody there? It takes a very long time for not very good experience. Definitely have to check everything before you leave the lot.
The last time we went I received a drink that was covered with slush, we watched whoever was working window hand it to us this way, no attempt to wipe it off or put it in another cup. Not talking like a little drip, like it spilled out over the entire cup and was a bright red sticky mess. Luckily I had paper towels in the car.
This time, they surprised me with their creativity. Idk if it's common practice to slap a sticker over a busted cup, but that's exactly what happened. I might not have even noticed had it not started leaking out from underneath... They also didn't give us the right straws for shakes (thin straws for soft drinks, red straws for slush and shakes) so I had to wait to get a spare in order to even drink my messy beverage. Times are tough, but I feel like it would've been okay to put it in a cup that wasn't cracked.
Idk if it's a particular shift or what, but if I go again, it's not going to be 5pm on a Thursday. This is when things seem to be off.
