Well today was my 2nd time here, i came a couple weeks ago was really bad experience decided to go back for a 2nd chance.we arrived around 2:55 pm walked in they wanted ti seat me and my dagghter and 2 grand babies near the restroom smh( my youngest grand baby is 11l months old still in high chair so i declined so she sat us in the bar area at a table ...she brought menus and asked us what welike to drink..and i suggested if we could have a drink menu she brought one back after about 5 mins, we ordered my grandson a sprite, me and my daughter ordered a drinks this was at 3:10 pm we sat and waited till 330pm before my grandson got his spite then another 10 mins on our drinks we placed a appetizer for 2 crab salads was going to get seaweed salad but they come with seeds which i can't have so i just ordered tge crab salad instead, told her give us a couple mins to decided our sushi rolls and main courses so about 15mins went by she came back got our order i asked if she would check on our salads she said yes. Well about 20 mins went by still no salad she did come ask how the drinks was i remindeed her we would like to have our appetizer before our meals. So she left about another 1l5 mins went by she bought the krab salads out and they had seeds on top of them, she left i flagged her back to the table and asked why did they have seeds and she said sometimes they do and sometimes they don't i explained again i could not have seeds and on the menu it didnt say it came with seeds she took it back and brought me a diffrent one without seeds. Not even 10 mins after our appetizer they brout our sushi and main course at the same time put it on table and walked away again one of the rolls ad seeds on top of it, smh i got with the roll walked up to her apologize and told her again the menu didnt say anything about seeds and i needed it made without the seeds.she took the roll and walked off so i went sat back down to eat my main course dish and she bought the sushi roll back with out seeds i thanked her...by this time i was so already over the place, but tried to finish letting my grandbabies eat...finelly after 30 mins she came back to check on us i asked for take out plates so we could go, she brought them rather quick and no bag to put them in...so my grand son just took a bag off the cart and we got our things and i went to pay she brought the bill and said i gave you a discount i told her thank you but i didn't come for the discount i came for the experience with my family and this was the 2nd time i had came and both times was very disappointing...i truly thonk in this business tha yes they may have alot of take out orders but the ppl that come in are wanting good service not to be there paying for something they are not getting ive worked 23yrs in service and i feel they should have a better way to allow thier custmors a more enjoyable time and better attentive servers who want to give that service...i can't not tip I've been in their shoes thats how they pay thier bills but its not fair to the customers at all...i will not go back for this reason the food wait, the drink wait ,and the food wasn't what it should of been and the service was just awful and this was both times of going there....and i still tipped the server 30% of my bill but the owner should look into theses reviews and make some desperate...

Gabby said she wasn’t sure what was going on, the kitchen was blank and had a moment. My Yakisoba was fixed, I was grateful. The issue was the chicken fried rice was put back on the grill to dice the onions but the rice was extra hard and fried. My friend let Gabby know that she was grateful that the onions were semi diced; it’s just at this point, the rice was all too hard. She no longer wanted the food and did not eat it. At this point Gabby was very nervous and lacked communication about said requests. She assured the table that she let the kitchen know about the diced onions, she’d bring the tickets, and let the manager know about our tables’ issues.
Needless to say, a manager never came over. I paid for my meal via the cash app option and was sure to tip Gabby. Being in the service industry I understand that tips are a blessing and based off of service, which she wasn’t the best and definitely not the worst. I was grateful for the service she did provide. At the register, the fried rice could not be taken off of my friend’s ticket because there was no manager. Gabby told us to hold on because she was going to talk to the “serving manager” who never came over and addressed us at all. Gabby let my friend know nothing could be done because the manager wasn’t there.
I’ve never experienced such cluelessness regarding a situation. I stepped in and asked Gabby if my friend was still being charged for a meal that was left on the table barely touched beyond the bites revealing the refried rice. Gabby said yes, she would be charged and let me know a manager would be in later; I could leave my number and she’d have a manager give me a call.
This is what upset me: the manager calls, and it was a woman who asked me what was going on. I proceed to explain the situation- I was put on a brief hold and a man gets on the phone claiming to be the manager. I re-explain the situation, which he said he was aware of. I hear discussion in the background and laughing. At the end of the day there was never an apology, simply arguing and disputing of facts. Lies were told and nothing was done to correct the situation besides his sarcastic comment, “you got lucky that you got diced onions because we only slice them here”. Mind you my onions weren’t even sliced on my vegetable yakisoba dish, but that’s beside the point.
The point is, customer service is key. We weren’t ugly or rude but the response to the situation by supposed management was ugly. When you chose to embark in business, especially a business in the service industry, arguing with clients, being sarcastic and rude, lying about something as simple as a wrong order not being eaten and left on the table it’s disappointing and off-putting. You lose people who ultimately try to support you and provide patronage.
I never leave reviews and hate to type a book; whoever you were today- female “manager” and male “manager” on the phone- you didn’t have to lie; couth is key when dealing with the public. Gabby, as you continue to wait tables and provide service, communication skills and professionalism are key and will take you far!
I will not be back and yes, I understand I’m just one person to you- my experience and my friends’ experiences in this instance needed to...
Read moreToday my friends and I decided to dine in at this facility. Granted, I come here often, usually with different people despite having had some not so great experiences, I’ve continued to come and support local business. That ends today. I will not waste my hard earned money at a business whose food is mediocre, managers are unprofessional, and staff lacks communication and customer service skills.
Upon sitting our table, the waitress- Gabby- greeted us by letting us know that she wasn’t our waitress; she was only taking our drink orders to help out our actual waitress. Drinks were ordered and brought to the table wrong. She apologized, we were cool; it happens. After several minutes pass, Gabby returns and proceeds to take our food order; I guess she would be our waitress 🤷🏾♀️ The four of us place our orders: vegetable yakisoba- spicy, bento box with a side of mixed veggies, Penang curry- no rice- and a side of spicy cabbage, and lastly, fried rice with only egg and diced onions. (I ordered the yakisoba.)
My friend who ordered the chicken fried rice with diced onions and egg had a detailed conversation where she expressed she ONLY ate diced onions, and asked if this were possible. Gabby assured her that she understood and the diced onions would be no problem.. Gabby was off to the kitchen to put in the order.
Nearly an hour passed, which we had patients with as Gabby came over once to refill drinks and replace drinks- there was something floating in the half and half. We were all still calm and patient. She let us know our food should be out soon. When the food finally arrived 3/4 of the orders were wrong. No one complained, we simply let Gabby know what our issues were. (I.e.: the veggie Yakisoba came out all veggies, no noodles; the fried rice had sliced strips of onions not diced ones; and the Penang curry with no rice and a side of spicy cabbage came out all mixed together as an entree and a side of rice- which of course is no issue, who doesn’t enjoy extra food? The point in me adding this was either the kitchen didn’t pay attention to Gabby or Gabby didn’t pay attention to...
