Wendy's — Restaurant in Shelby

Nice place. They are fast and the food is good. Thank y'all for working on veterans day. I hope they give y'all raises or an incentive or something cause y'all deserve it. This restaurant has its own... Swagger I guess I could say? Cause at first you think smh youngsters cause some of em be boopin doin they own thing but then get your food and it's like wow them youngsters did great and you also have to realize a few things like I did when I got home 1. They young. So they language different but they are nice. They wear masks and gloves from what I saw so thank y'all for that. 2. They are there doing a great job. Fast food (a job I've had myself) can be difficult between different customers possible attitudes at times and thousands of orders it can get hectic. And 3. It's a holiday. Veterans day at that so heck yeah my mind would be on whatever gets me thru to close. Just being honest. I am happy with my experience and look forward to eating here again. My only note (the reason that made this a 4 not a 5) I asked for no bacon on my burger and it had bacon on it everything else was right even the no onion. Was even rung up correctly so it's not the cashier fault honest easy to make mistake to make from the kitchen but from a boss position you just cost your team the price of bacon and I personally can't let it slide sorry. Let me start by saying I had a fairly large order. BUT, the girl who took my order got it in the system correctly, even though a truck was reviving its engine with a loud exhaust, and another truck decided to spin their tires purposely while sitting at a red light, but anyways... once I got home, 2 out of my 5 drinks fell out of the drink carrier all over the ground. Why would you put FIVE drinks in ONE carrier made for FOUR drinks?! It could have been doubled up and probably would have been fine to get away with, but places (not just Wendy's are stingy with these and I ALWAYS have to ASK for a carrier). So, I had to GO BACK and PURCHASE those 2 drinks, AGAIN!. Then, when I got back to eat MY food, there was an "extra" sandwich. It turns out it was NOT "extra" but a "Big Bacon Classic" "Single" with what I ordered on it. However, I actually ordered a "Triple". They did pack a "Triple", but it was the BASIC "Dave's with Cheese". I checked the receipt, and again, the girl entered it correctly as ordered, but whoever was preparing and packing (I believe the Manager was packing), did not read the order right.

I will go back, because I really like Wendy's, but I don't dare go through the drive thru with a large order, because it can't be checked, or watched as...

Went to go get a biggie bag with a co worker! BBQ sauce was left out of one of the bags! Simply asked for a BBQ sauce and that is was missing. Girl at the window said it will be 50 cent. We asked isn’t it included… given there was a ranch in the other biggie bag. It just simply was not put in the bag … no big deal at all. Girl said “let me see it” girl snatched the bag… she dug all through the bag with no gloves excessively like she didn’t believe us then said “oh you can have it then.” As putting the car in drive the girl then proceeds to sarcastically say have a “great day ma’am” while waving out the window with a huge attitude. Girl was a Hispanic young girl … clearly not professional at all! So rude! Shouldn’t be working at the window and have customer interaction! Get back to office and the BBQ sauce was completely busted guessing that is why she was waving so sarcastic! Just wow! Somebody needs to either let her go or let her not work in the front!
