This has always been one of my favorite go-to's. When I meet my family for lunch at a Midway point between where they live and I live. Today I decided to meet my mom there to have a birthday lunch with her as I wasn't able to see her on her actual birthday, when she turned 71. My mom texted me about 5 minutes before I arrived there to explain to me what had happened to her. She brought her drink in with her because being the old lady that she is wanting to pinch pennies. She didn't want to pay $0.69 for a cup. She does this frequently everywhere we go and it's whatever to me. I get it. I understand that she's at that age where she cares. Well, the staffed there proceeded to tell my mom that she could not do that and they gave her the general manager's phone number to call because she said that there was a note on the bulletin board that said they are not to allow people to do this. My mom called the general manager that we later found out was on vacation, and the general manager explained she was trying to run a business and that she would appreciate it if my mom would not do that. $0.69 is going to make or break you? That may not break you but the fact that I won't be back there because of how you treated my elderly mom is more than 69 cents worth. The crazy thing was that after she told me this I called the store to ask them if it was okay if I brought a birthday cake in because I was aware of the fact that they got on my mom about the 69 cent cup she didn't want to purchase and that they had no issues with it. Strange. It was such a pressing issue that they had to call the general manager on her vacation who then had to explain how $0.69 would make or break her business.
Reply to manager: if this is the actual general manager then I would have to say you weren't there either and if it was the shift manager I would have to say. If it was a friendly interaction, why did you have her call your general manager? You're contradicting yourself. Thanks and...
Read moreI'd like to start off by saying this place only got 1 star rating because ZERO wasn't an option. Ordered a meatball ball sub sandwich without the peppers and onions and they brought it to the table 30mins later with no marinara sauce what so ever dressed with lettuce and tomatoes. Asked if that would be alright since they made it that way. Another person in our dinner party ordered a steak sandwich with no mushrooms due to allergies and the sandwich showed up also over 30mins later with mushrooms on it. One person actually got to eat their sandwich which was also served incorrectly and came out well before the other sandwiches. A total of 45mins had passed so we asked for a refund. We were told they could only remake the food at first so we asked for a manager which the person had to call. So obviously no manager on duty. After the employee spoke with the manager she came back and told us NO REFUND could be given and they'd remake the food with 20% off. Total BS. Waiting on a remake that would take 30mins or more at a lame 20% discount wasn't acceptable at all. So we had to leave with never receiving any food or our money back. Will have to call visa and stop payment. Extremely unprofessional and if anyone plans on going to this establishment I'd STRONGLY RECONSIDER and choose another...
Read moreWe enjoyed dinner at Bellacino’s the food was excellent. However customer service lacks. I asked to speak to a manager, who was not friendly!!! After my daughter in law went to get our family a to go box, but was giving styrofoam containers. The manager I spoke to informed me that boxes cost money, and they are given to customers that order their pizza to go. I understand the inconvenience of handing a customer a large box when they only have a few pieces. We had an entire large pizza left over, a small styrofoam box is not going to hold that amount of left over pizza. Also, my son spent 100$ taking us out to dinner, it seems like poor customer service when 1 pizza box cost more then multiple styrofoam containers. I don’t feel this manager exemplifies the family atmosphere my family and I go to Bellacino’s to experience. While the manager did grudgingly have a staff member hand us a box, she only did so because she said she did not have to deal with me and my complaint. Next time we will order to go so if we have left overs we don’t have to fight about a box. But it seems that would not be as cost effective for your...
