Burger King — Restaurant in Shelbyville

I placed an online order directly from Google/BK (not DoorDash) & put in the delivery instructions to leave my food on the steps & chose no contact delivery. The driver kept violently banging on my door for like 5 minutes, which was unsettling. I was by the door the whole time, because I assumed he’d leave it on the steps & go, as per the instructions. I was genuinely getting scared, because the guy seemed very agitated. I thought he was going to break the door from banging so hard. He also tried turning/ jiggling the door handle, which was NOT OK!!!! I seriously almost called the police after he tried to open the door.

He was huffing & puffing, said a few cuss words, left my food & sped off, slinging gravel everywhere. When I opened the door, there was a drink with it, which I did NOT order, so that was also concerning, given how he was acting.

Apart from that, I’m vegan & literally the first thing under my impossible whopper says, “no cheese,” but they added it anyway, so it was inedible & went straight in the trash.

They did finally refund my money & I still go sometimes, via drive thru, but I will never let them come to my home again.

Trying to open my door was so far beyond unacceptable & was technically attempted b&e… I have no proof, unfortunately, so just please be cautious people. You never really know the mental state of...

I went through the drive through about 9pm tonight. I watched this older man (who was supposed to be bagging food) with glasses walk to the front register to, I can only assume, tell his coworker to look at me in the drive through, and the girl behind him did as well. I thought it was over until I watched him walk to another girl and she also turned to look at me through the drive through window. I was already embarrassed coming out late at night wearing a bonnet, and now triple embarrassed bc this guy had to make a spectacle of a single mom just trying to get food for her baby.. I'm super disappointed and upset and will probably NEVER come back there.. I know this may seem stupid to some, but it's really stupid for someone to treat someone like that when they don't...

They are completely unsanitary. If a utensil falls on the ground they don't wash it. They continue to use it. When they clean the fryer they place the parts on the floor, and they don't bother to wash them before putting it back together. They don't change the grease for 3-4 weeks, and they are very rude to customers. If you dine in, they don't want you there after you finish eating. They don't even cook the food all the way through. My bf is an employee, and we were sitting there talking after we ate. The manager came over and told us that we have to find somewhere else to go.
