I don’t mind paying $95, before tip, for great food. I’ve paid more. But this was far from great and it was suggested to me by the server. I was never told the price before making my selection, which is my fault, but it wouldn’t have mattered unless the menu said things like “Buyer beware!” It was the worst porterhouse I’ve ever had. My server apparently saw me struggling to cut thru the cartilage-filled, flavorless (unless you count the taste of the oil from the cartilage), medium cooked chop, and decided he should come convince me it was good. “Locally sourced grass fed” “That’s good meat “ I honestly was about to send it back before he came over to brainwash me. I should have read the reviews before entering. All the negatives are exactly the way it felt to me. Except they’ve put tent on the windows to keep people from getting sunburned. The positive reviews seem suspect to me. Maybe the slice of cheesecake was what made it so exorbitantly priced. (Shrug) Still left a 20% tip for the second server’s benefit. Maybe he’ll learn how to use the POS (point of sale, people) card reader someday.

My husband and I decided to try this fine dining restaurant. We had cocktails to start. An Old Fashion with Elijah Craig bourbon $8 and Tito's with club soda $6. Both were generous pours. So we were really pleased with the great price and great cocktails. My husband ordered ribeye and they let him substitute both the risotto and asparagus with spaghetti with marinara. I ordered the filet mignon with shrimp, mashed potatoes, and asparagus. My husband was very pleased that the substitution was allowed. Next they brought us garlic bread with warm marinara. The bread was heavy with olive oil, red pepper flakes, and toasted. We liked it. Our meals were cooked as ordered. The food was seasoned well and flavor was great! Everything was delicious. We shared tiramisu for dessert. The total bill was $121.69. Our server, Summer, was attentive. The food doesn't match up to the physical setting. It doesn't feel like a fine dining restaurant. Tables are numbered, menus were stained, menu had several misspelled words. Overall, it was a great experience and we will go back.

The food here was very good, but the portions were very small especially for the price. I was still hungry when I left here but at those prices there was no way I was ordering anything else. The service was very good, staff was very friendly. But this place is definitely not for average income people like me. I would have never imagined spending this much money on dinner for me and my 11yo son in a small town like Shelbyville. But I do wish them the best of luck. Also it was very hot and stuffy in here, everyone was using their menus to fan themselves. Before we even got our food, I was just ready to get out of there.

My recent visit to this Italian restaurant left much to be desired. I opted for the $150 tomahawk steak, expecting a culinary delight, but alas, the experience fell short. The steak, touted as a flavorful masterpiece, lacked the promised taste and left my palate underwhelmed. Furthermore, the actual dish did not align with the mouthwatering images showcased online.

The ambiance, too, was a far cry from the upscale setting portrayed in promotional materials. The restaurant's atmosphere failed to match the elegant and refined atmosphere depicted in pictures, making it clear that reality did not meet expectations. It's disheartening when the visual appeal of a dining establishment doesn't translate into the actual experience.

Adding to the disappointment was the absence of wine, a surprising omission for an Italian restaurant. This absence significantly detracted from the expected dining experience, leaving me questioning the establishment's commitment to delivering a complete and satisfying culinary journey. A lack of wine options can be a deal-breaker for those expecting a well-rounded and indulgent meal.

The establishment's connection to a nearby hookah bar and smoke shop raised eyebrows. It became evident that the restaurant shared ownership with these establishments, introducing an unexpected and somewhat incongruent element to the overall dining experience. The melding of an Italian restaurant with a hookah bar and smoke shop seemed an odd pairing that compromised the restaurant's identity and authenticity.

Additionally, the slow wait times only added to the overall dissatisfaction. Patrons eager for a timely and enjoyable dining experience may find the extended wait periods frustrating, contributing further to a sense of dissatisfaction.

All in all, this Italian restaurant, linked to a hookah bar and smoke shop, failed to deliver on multiple fronts—flavorful cuisine, an upscale atmosphere, a comprehensive beverage selection, and timely service. Regrettably, it falls short of being a go-to steakhouse, and my disappointment guarantees that I won't...

Went to the sports bar side with my son. My wife and I had been to the Restaurant side a couple of times and just had not been overly impressed considering the price but also wasn’t too bad. The food was fairly good but the service was very slow both times. This time I thought I’d give the bar side a try. It took 30 minutes to get the first beer. We ordered food when hey brought the beer, 2 burgers and fries. I also ordered a burger and fries to go for my wife who wasn’t with us. Our eat in food took another 30 minutes but wasn’t bad. Then, we waited for the to go, which again we ordered at 6:30 with the other food. We waited and waited. Finally at 7:30 I told the server to bring the food or refund the money I had already paid for it. Another 15 minutes went by and she came back and wait it still wasn’t ready but “he”, I assume the owner, was going to come out and talk to me. Long story short her never came. He came out about 8PM and gave her the burger in a to go box which she brought out very embarrassed. He didn’t even care enough about his business to apologize. By the way the restaurant side was nearly empty as well. I can’t imagine why! We clearly will not go back since they don’t seem to care if...

The worst dining experience I’ve had in recent memory. No server, one random employee repeatedly asked if we had placed an order yet. Zero communication amongst the staff. Sat at the table for at least 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged we were there. We easily waited an hour between the time we arrived to getting food. I should also note that we were one of only two tables occupied in the entire establishment, but our “server” mentioned they were very busy. Our food took so long to come out that I questioned what they were actually doing in the kitchen, which is clearly visible from all the tables. I ordered a 12 oz ribeye, and I received what could best be described as a thin sirloin steak. My best guess is they either didn’t have what I ordered, or they somehow ruined it. I’m convinced they had an employee run next door to the Kroger and grab anything that resembled a steak. My previous visit there had reasonably decent if slow service. Food was also good on that visit, but not this one. I can guarantee that I will not be returning again. They are obviously on the downward spiral and circling...
