Subway — Restaurant in Shelbyville

Me and a friend of mine decided to come here today Saturday the 25 I got a footlong with Roast Beef and a friend of mine received the BMT with chips and a drink I was first shocked at the prices haven't been to Subway in a while so I saw a commercial on TV and decided I wanted a Subway today Only 2 employees up front and nothing was covered the Sandwich area was a mess I kinda over looked it and still ordered I ordered a Roast Beef on Herbs and cheese bread with garlic Aolia and pickles lettuce black olives and onions We dined inside We both got a drink and fixed our tea only to taste it to find out it was terrible almost sour We dumped it out and got cokes The Bread on the sandwiches were so hard I had to just eat the inside of the sandwich The roast beef tasted like if it was left out 1 more day it would had been spoiled it had a very bold twang to it I wound up throwing away one half of sandwich away there and brought the other half home in which I will prolaly not eat My friend ordered a Churro and it was totally inedible I said something to the girl behind the counter and she never acknowledged I said anything to her it went in the trash we could not even chew it If you are gonna charge such high prices my bill was $15 and some change then you need to have fresh bread fresh veggies and fresh drinks This today...

I went last night and these 2 girls, 1 blonde who desperately needs to get her roots done and the other with obvious red box dyed hair are so rude. I get there 10 minutes before 9:20 thinking that making 2 sandwiches take about 8 minutes and not that bad of a mess, which I understand it was last minute but it’s their job.. & I get it was maybe a long day but didn’t think much of it. I was craving it & I don’t even go often. I get there & i see the sign on. Obviously because it’s not 9:30 yet but no. they turn off their sign and tell us they're closed. so I had to reminded them that they closed at 9:30 & it wasn't 9:30 yet. me personally I own a business, so it triggered me even more. very disappointing & ugly behavior & those little girls need to learn respect & I can tell they’re little girls. FYl I disrespected them back & it made my night! I have been to this location multiple times and never had a bad experience and the staff has always been very friendly until today. I ask for the new dorito nacho and my husband got a six inch sandwich. Once they toasted the chips I was ready to add toppings. The manager (I am assuming) informed me the nachos are NON-customizable. She said you can have jalapeños, onions and tomatoes and nothing else. My stomach can not handle onions or jalapeño so my husband said “We will pay extra for black olives.” I was taking off two toppings and just wanted one topping and she refused. I actually thought she was joking. I’ve never seen a manager or restaurant refuse to sell a topping and at subway you can add as many toppings as you want to a sandwich. MAKES NO SENSE AT ALL! The young female manager with RED HAIR refused to sell a topping that was right there on the menu! This treatment is unacceptable in the customer service industry.
