I placed my first ever Dunkin order on the app on 7/27/24 around 3p. I ordered $24 worth of donuts. I expected the app to tell me if something was out of stock, all other apps I've used do. I get to the store and they only had 1 type of donut left. No big deal, I realize it's late in the day. I asked if they could just cancel my order. They said yes, but I would have to request a refund through the app. This is where my complaint starts. I requested a refund and got a standardized email back that asks how I want my refund. I'm not upset at this point, so I say just put it on a Dunkin card on my profile. I'll try again some other time. I then get an email back that says my case has been escalated to the store management and I should hear something within two days. By this time it's Wed 7/31. I wait until Friday late in the day to email back and say I haven't heard anything, but I really just want a refund and don't need my case escalated. They pretty much respond with too bad, it's already escalated. Another two days go by, I still haven't heard from anyone. I email again, no response to this day. So about 8/5 I get back on the app and just start the process from the beginning. I get the same standard email response, how would you like your refund. This time I say refund it to my credit card, because now I'm mad. I get the same email back, your case has been escalated, someone will reach out to you in 2 days. No one has reached out to me and it's now 8/14/24. I've given up and will never go there again. So be careful when using the app. I've never had this much trouble with any other...
Read morePlaced a mobile order shortly before pulling up to drive thru, as I always do. As I pull up to where you order, there is no line. I told them I had a mobile order, and when I pulled up to the window the employee attempted to belittle me. The employee complained about me not giving them enough time to make the order before arriving, and that it puts a lot of stress on them. I asked her what the difference was between me doing the order on my phone or doing it the regular way, and did not get a logical answer. I asked for a manager and was told (with a smirk) there wasn’t one. This is unacceptable. I have spent a lot of money at this location, but I won’t be doing that anymore. Read moreEarly (4/5) a.m. guy that works there is horrible. I've preordered my food on the app. It showed the ticket # and deducted the amount from my account. When I got there he said I never ordered such thing. I showed him the ticket # and the amount took from my account. He just said no.. He asked what I want to order. When I replied I already had. He said no and shrugged his shoulders. And than,closed the window on me😤. This happened 2x within the month. 1 time I went into the store had to (In the a.m.) waited for almost 15 mins for him to come out from the back by this time there was myself and 2,other ppl in the store and 2 cars in the drive thru.
