Morning/lunch times there are good. Staff is polite, cleanliness, food is good. Dinner/evenings are horrible. Managers and ALL staff are extremely rude. There have been 2 occasions that I've asked for a rag to clean my own table. There's always food all over the lobby. Trash cans are so full that I had to throw my trash away in the restroom trashcan. Let's not forget to mention all the health codes and OSHA violations going on right in front of everybody there. My sandwiches literally sat in the box for 20 minutes with no heat, waiting for my fries and nuggets to be done. By the time I received our food, the sandwiches felt like they had been in the refrigerator (fyi-they had not been, I saw them sitting on the counter). I asked for new ones bc they were cold. So another literal 15 minutes later, the sandwiches were finally done. I open it, there is zero sauce on my sandwich, it was all piled in the container, around the sandwich. When I took it back up, the manager said with a smirk, "what do you want me to do? So what, there's sauce on the side of your sandwich..". I showed her there was no sauce on the sandwich at all and it was all beside the sandwich. She says "so you want me to remake it" and laughed. I said no that'd be the third time you guys have made 1 sandwich. I'll bring the rest up here and just want my money back". She wasn't going to until the people behind said something. Then she says"well you're gonna have to bring it ALL back up here, then I'll refund it. You're not getting it free". Mind you, I said I was gonna bring it ALL back up because I just wanted my money back. She acted like I was trying to steal it. I get it back up to the counter, she says, "I'm not refunding your drink". I said"ok, but I still don't want it. I don't care about a drink that's a dollar and some change. AFTER she refunded (just the food) back, and we were heading out, she tells "and you can throw that away over there". In a trash can that I had to shove it in due to being full. I do believe once I hand it back to you and I've got my money back, that throwing it away is now your duty. It's back in your possession. Also, one of the young cooks was wearing muddy farm wear (clothes and boots). Everybody knows it's either mud or animal waste. Either way, I don't recommend eating in the evenings. Read moreI usually have pretty good service here but not always. Sometimes they do forget sauces, napkins, straws, etc which is very annoying especially when you don't discover the missing items until you're home. So check your bag before driving away from the window is one suggestion.
They did over charge me once recently on their 2 for $5 deal, where I ordered 2 of the 10 pcs chicken nuggets, and was charged almost $8, but I did not realize it until I was home because I had also ordered several other items. I called them and they did give me a refund on my next visit, apologized, and made it all very good with me. I was a happy camper!
They provided excellent customer service after their mistake and did enough to satisfy me, and hopefully anyone else. For this reason I give them 4 stars. No one is always perfect, and mistakes do happen, but how they handled it afterwards is what mattered.
I don't eat here often, but they are open 24 hrs, and I occasionally crave a big mac without onions, and usually by the time I am to the window my special order is ready. I rarely have to pull forward, but sometimes the drive thru line does move very slow. I eat at odd hours, so I am not usually in the breakfast / lunch / dinner rush times. I go between those times, haha.
The all day breakfast is cool too as I also crave their egg mcmuffins, and they have them on special often 2 for $4, which is low cost...
Read moreIf I could give negative 5 stars, I would. This place is a disgrace. DO NOT GO HERE ON A SUNDAY. The staff are completely INEPT and DO NOT CARE about customer service AT ALL. I am a Door Dash delivery driver and I went in several times on a Sunday. The earliest visit wasn't too bad, but as the morning went on, every time I had to pick up a delivery, my wait was longer and longer. Finally, my last visit was around 10:30. The lobby was FILLED with people waiting for their orders. I waited an hour to get my delivery orders. There are employees that move as slow as molasses and the managers do not seem to mind. Because of this, orders kept getting backed up to where people were just leaving AFTER they placed and paid for their orders. And if you are a Door Dasher or Grub Hub driver, they definitely do not care about your orders. In the hour I waited, I watched my order go from being 4th on the screen, to last (12th). They make the delivery orders last on their priority list. Sadly, Shelbyville is filled with people and places like this.
