I did a take out order and the person who took my order was too busy on the the phone. She barely gave eye contact because she was busy texting. I didnt know it at the time but she got my order wrong. I paid with a card and was waiting on my card back and the receipt for 3 min or more. I had to ask her if I needed to sign anything and she said yeah. Because I was awkwardly standing there waiting. She finally gave me my receipt. While waiting I seen her taking selfies on a table as well as when I was waiting on my card back. I found out she is the owners daughter go figure. I finally got my food and I just took off because it was a long while that we stayed there. I finish up doing things that needed to get done before we ate dinner and found out that she didn't give us 2 kids meals and just charged one even though I had 2 kids with me when I ordered. As well as charged me 2 rice orders extra. When I called the restaurant I bedsheets answered and didn't understand what I was saying because another waitress answered the phone when she said hold on. The waitress was very nice and apologetic but it doesn't change the fact that now I had to make my husband go out and pick up the kids meal and take back the extra rice. After again waiting almost a hour in the 1st place. The food was okay nothing special. But it wasn't bad. So I guess that's a good thing. I would say for the price I paid I feel like they should have more attention to detail. I get being on the phone in your down time but not during the time someone is...
Read moreThe reason I'm leaving a one star review is because of an incident that ruined the experience. I visited on July 6, 2024 at around 5pm. I was brought a salad as part of my meal. I took a bite and as I was chewing I noticed a hair in the bowl. As I chewed some more I then noticed a hair inside my mouth. 2 hairs total. One that I had to pull out of my mouth and then spit my food out. It was utterly disgusting. The frustration continued as I pointed it out to the waitress, who apologized and told me she didn't know who made the food that morning. That was it. She didn't ask if I wanted something else. No manager came out and apologized. They could have offered to take some money off my meal at the very least and they didn't. I should have left but I stuck around to have what I ordered, which was just ok. I went to check out and there were no mentions of the incident and no further apologies. Just two waitresses laughing as they talked to each other. I wanted to like this place as I had high hopes coming in and sitting down. Multiple hairs in my food is a sign of carelessness on the part of the people preparing it, and that's a recipe for disaster in a kitchen. I won't be coming here...
Read moreOur first time eating here, myself, my wife and my brother walk in and the place appears quaint and authentic. We waited to be seated for about ten seconds before being welcomed to an empty booth. We were promptly asked for drink orders which were promptly brought to us along with menus in which the waitress asked if we wanted appetizers. It took us awhile to decide over the menu during which she came back to check on us several times. My brother order a steak dish that came exactly as he ordered, over medium. My wife and I ordered shrimp tempura, her with Miso soup and I with onion soup. Both of ours came with a spring roll and California roll, and all three of ours came with a salad. We could hear the couple behind us commenting how good the fillet mignon was which impressed me. Our food was excellent and so was the service. We'll all be going back soon to try other dishes as the prices are very reasonable. The only thing I would change would be to remove one small annoying TV and add a little background...
