NEVER GOING BACK, PERIOD!!! This will be my final updated review of this poor excuse for a restraunt. I have frequented this place on four separate occasions. All have been filled with the worst service I've ever witnessed!! Each time, I thought to myself, I'll given it one more try. What a mistake that turned out to be! Once again, the service wasn't just bad, it was nonexistent! We sat down and ordered drinks and guacamole. That went fine.. We then ordered our entrées. We ordered fajitas for two. Around 10 minutes later a waiter (not ours) quickly walked by and announced fajitas and set the hot plate on the table, along with plates of beans and rice. Just as quickly as he appeared, he was gone! Our drinks were just about empty and we had no tortillas. Not to mention that the meal looked big enough to feed just one of us!! There were 3 large strips of chicken and 4 beef. Too big to be fajitas size, oh and the veggies were barely cooked. Learning from my past experiences, I started a stopwatch. I wanted to see how long it would take for our waiter to reappear. Needless to say, he didn't! After 7 minutes, my wife finally flagged down another worker and asked for our tortillas. I was enraged at this point! There was no way I'd be leaving a tip, with such abysmal service once again! We ate our food, which was subpar, finished our water and sat there. We must have sat for nearly 15 minutes. No sign of our waiter!!! I had finally had enough and we stood up and went to pay the hostess. While we're waiting in line to pay, low and behold, our waiter appears from out of no where, with a look of surpise on his face. He quickly scrambles to the cash register, my wife pays and we leave. I didn't say a darn thing! I knew if I had, I'd have been that "guy". I would have raised my voice and demanded to see the manager etc..
No! Instead, I will go back to my favorite Mexican restaurants to eat. Places like El Nopal and Challupas, in Etown. Places that I know have quality waite staff and great food.
Daniel, I gave you four tries! Each time you let me down!!! Never again!!! The food here is decent. Definitely not worth the...
Read moreI have made an effort to visit this establishment twice, but unfortunately, both experiences fell short of my expectations. To begin, we sampled the fresh guacamole, which, in hindsight, was not fresh at all. It had a consistency that was more akin to frozen and watery rather than fresh and creamy. Following this, I ordered the stake carne asada, which is typically served with onions, rice, beans, and guacamole on the side. The only aspect of this dish that I found enjoyable was the Montreal steak seasoning that the meat was marinated in. Regrettably, the steak was extremely chewy and dry, making it most unpleasant to consume. Even after informing the server that my meal was not up to par and that the meat was difficult to chew, her response was a mere "I'm sorry for your loss." This was the final time I dined at this establishment. I also forgot to mention that the portion size of the meat was quite small for the hefty...
Read moreWe were from out of town, & our hotel recommended this restaurant for authentic Mexican food. The hostess seated us within ten minutes, & the booths & tables have neat Mexican themed decorations! Our server was attentive & thorough, although it did take him longer than expected to get our drinks. I ordered the chicken flautas meal, & I didn't realize it came with lettuce, which I'm allergic to. Our server willingly brought over a separate plate, sour cream & guacamole for me that didn't have the lettuce, which I greatly appreciated! My husband ordered the Mexican tacos, which came with a bean soupy mixture on the side. He said it all tasted amazing! We also both ordered the frozen lime margarita, which tasted excellent & had a good mixture of alcohol & lime! We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience & dinner at this restaurant, & we will definitely return if we're ever in...
