The Sweet Shoppe — Restaurant in Shepherdsville

Today was our first time visiting this adorable local ice cream shop! They have such a great selection of flavors, it was hard to choose. We ended up with an Oreo Cheesecake in a waffle cone, the Oreo milkshake, the smores milkshake, a double scoop of cookies and cream in a regular cone, and I went for the churro ice cream nachos; super delicious!! The shop itself is super cute and welcoming, with an area full of toys, games, and coloring for the kiddos which in my opinion is such a thoughtful touch! The staff couldn’t have been friendlier or kinder. You can really feel the heart behind this family-owned business, and it makes the experience even sweeter. We will definitely be back for...

Nice looking place. I came in to get some ice cream. The door was unlocked. People were coming and going. Never did have anyone come take care of us, though.

Update: Bout 30 people just forced their way in the door. Someone jammed the door into 4 year old and made him bleed. She didn't even have the decency to apologize until I made a big deal out of it. I'm very excited to have a hand-dipped, locally owned ice cream shop in Shepherdsville! I got the hot fudge brownie sundae, and it was delicious! 😋 Someone else sitting next to me had a banana split that looked so good I almost ordered one while eating my sundae.
