Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Shepherdsville

The customer service at Pizza Hut is deplorable! The Pizza Hut app is only slightly better than the customer service. The app didn't place my order the first four attempts. Submitting my order the fifth time resulted in order confirmation for contactless pickup. When the app showed my order would be ready in six minutes I tapped the "I'm here" link and the page remained the same. Tapped the link a second time ten minutes later and the app said to call the store and let them know you've arrived. I called the local number however all calls are answered at a call center and the lady transferred me to the local store. The phone rang for two minutes and 23 seconds gave a busy signal and disconnected because the employees were not answering the phone. We could see employees looking out the windows and standing at the counter but they ignored the ringing phone. About 12 minutes after the app said our order was ready an unmasked employee came to the car, said "Here you go" handed me the boxes and walked off! The Pizza was hot which was the only positive regarding this experience. My pizza was given the extra topping of a black end french fry! Yuck! The triple chocolate brownie was not cut and undercooked. The only way to eat it would be with a fork or spoon, if you want to eat a half cooked gooey mess. I tried to call and let a manager know how very disappointed we were but instead I was on hold for ten minutes 27 seconds and then the phone disconnected from their end. Apparently they do not have time to concern themselves with their customers. Absolutely unacceptable service! The food needs...

Pizza Hut went down hill the minute they chose to use rotisserie designed ovens instead of the old big gas ones. Basically the same rotisserie cooking gas stations use to cook hot dogs . So yea you are eating the equivalent to gas station pizza. Nobody likes floppy under-cooked crust . Pizza Hut use to be a nice restaurant you could take a date to, but now it does it's best to copy Papa Johns and Papa Johns is just different sauce and just as soggy. Word of advice if you have to bring it home anyway save some money and go to Little Caesar's since you honestly just want something that almost passes as a decent quick pizza meal. The staff here was amazing, the gentleman at the counter was just awesome. We had placed an order hours before that we paid for over the phone but had to cancel due to truck problems. When I called back they remade it without question. When we got here to pick it up we couldn't find our card and didn't have Cash. The gentleman told us to have a good night and don't worry about it, that it was on them and he hopes our night gets better! This goes to show that there are still good people out there! Even the smallest things that don't seem like much to you may move mountains for someone else! Will be stopping here on our way through. And also letting his manager know of the outstanding...
