Absolutely appalled at the service we received last Friday night (1/7/22). This is one of our favorite restaurants in Sheridan because of the delicious food quality. However, we will most likely not be back after last Friday's encounter. First, if you are new to Killey's, it's seat yourself (there needs to be a sign up for this so customers are not standing at the doorway for an eternity). After finding a table to sit, we were greeted very quickly by a male server, was told they were out of an abundance of food items as they were very busy earlier on. Which we completely understand and chose an item that was listed available. We waited roughly 10 minutes to receive our drinks and the server never returned after. We were giving him the benefit of doubt as he was clearly 'exhausted' from their early dinner rush. However, he completely ignored our table for over 20 minutes. We chose to wait because we were starving and thought there was no way it was going to be over 20 minutes before he returned. Sure enough, it was roughly 20 minutes. What irritated us the most, was the fact that we watched him encounter every single table in the entire restaurant grabbing drink orders/food orders/dropping food off/and bussing the tables while walking past us every single time. My husband briefly made eye contact and said we were wanting to order and could use a refill, he proceeded to again, go to every other table and specifically miss ours. Killey's is unfortunately known for having slower service, but this is absolutely ridiculous and we will not be recommending nor coming back to this restaurant for this reason. There's absolutely no excuse for it and I'm saddened that Killey's has left this...

A truly odd place with one of the best pulled pork sandwiches I have ever eaten. Odd because it is a very large space with BBQ fare, a few cold chests with food, including local eggs and a mix of table/chairs options. Restaurant Impossible would have a field day with this place.
This was not our 1st attempt to eat here. A couple of months ago, we walked through, not understanding how to order and with no one asking to help. We saw only ribs and fried chicken, which was not what we were looking for. We promptly left.
This 2nd visit, we came to the same scene, so I decided to ask how we order and what food they actually had. The woman gave us a laminated menu loaded with the bbq fare we expected. Ordering was easy, although it took at least 15 minutes to get my sandwich and coleslaw, which seemed long, especially in light of a mostly empty restaurant/store.
Their pulled pork was absolutely delish! Lots of yummy sauce and piled high on a nice roll. I opted for the house cole slaw rather than the creamy and was delighted! (The house cole slaw is in a vinegrette and inspired me to make a similar cole slaw at home.)
I would recommend Killy's for their pulled pork sandwich and cole slaw. I imagine their ribs would also be very good, but I didn’t try them. Expect poor service and to dine in a very odd space that is trying to figure out what it...
Read moreWe’re from Texas and love brisket, and since we’re staying in Sheridan for the night and this establishment is near the hotel we are in, we thought we would try it. Although the people are friendly, the gal who helped my husband couldn’t answer his questions, which was disconcerting. He brought the food to our motel and boy were we disappointed. It was obvious by the smell and taste that the brisket wasn’t made today, and it was terrible. It was tough, dry, and tasted and smelled like it had been previously refrigerated. I honestly cannot find one nice thing to say about that meat. My husband said the ribs could have been cooked a little longer, but they weren’t overcooked. The beans and the potatoes were ok as well. Boy are we sorry we decided to try their...
