Just a disappointing service experience overall. Tried 5 times. Yes, you read that right. FIVE times to give this place a chance. Their pizzas are great, and the restaurant is cool. But from the moment you walk in where no one greets you, it's bound to be a rough experience.
We were not greeted, with no idea what to do, except awkwardly stand there until an employee came up and said, you're welcome to sit at the bar, but if you want a table it's going to be a long wait. So we obliged, okay, we like the food, we'll wait, she then informed us it's seat yourself. Cool, no sweat, we'll wait, oh there's a booth, we'll grab that one. Waited for a while for our server, she did show up. Ordered food no issue, then the wait began.
They were moderately busy, but all the tables we saw already had their food. So we got our appetizer, then waited, and waited, and waited for any sign of our server. Meanwhile one of the employees propped open the door we were sitting across from and a freezing draft (end of March in the mountains) swiftly met our legs. For no apparent reason, (we both were in sweaters), this door was propped open despite being closed by customers numerous times... anyways... then our server showed back up again...with our appetizer, we politely informed her that we had already gotten our appetizer a while ago from another server, she said it was fine and let us keep it, great gesture!
The place just seems to lack a manager presence ensuring employees are keeping up with tables and with their orders rather than be more concerned about their own personal comfort (propping open doors and freezing customers), smoking, or messing around with other employees.
Thank you for another...
Read moreSo now for a real review. I would advise others to stop eating at this establishment. I was there for a day, behind the scenes and I have never in my life seen such a filthy kitchen. This one deserves to be on a kitchen nightmare episode. Everything is filthy and covered in grease and it smells badly in the kitchen. They need to change their fryers and not pick up food off the floor and serve it to customers. We have eaten there several times and I can say we are lucky we did not get a food born illness. The plates, cups, and other food containers are not cleaned as well as they should be and that is why there is a film and grease on cleaned dishes.
There is no excuse for running a food service in such a manner. The vehicles for delivery are filthy and unkept with dirt and grease from fingers and I highly doubt they have cleaned the insides within the year. When I entered the vehicle there were receipts all over the floor. They smoke out back and then return without washing their hands. They do not show pride and excellence in the food that they make and they should be ashamed of what they are really selling the customer. Do not eat at or frequent this establishment or if you do, you are doing it at your own risk. Filthy disgusting, kitchen and working space. You have...
Read moreOrdered a Greek Pizza and house salad for takeout. The menu posted online has the wrong prices. Once home I called to ask why there was a difference. The manager I spoke to acted as if it was my fault that I didn't verify the prices when I placed the order. She said they don't control the menu that is posted by google. But I beg to differ, when you press menu on the site, that's the menu that comes up.
The pizza was lacking as it didn't have the feta cheese or seasoning that helps make it a Greek Pizza.
Finally, when I picked up the food. They were very busy, which is great, however they need to keep the cashiers and cooks doing their own jobs. The cashier who had just taken a credit card payment from the woman in front of me, asked my name and started to get my pizza box. But she was sidetracked by the manager to help in the kitchen. The girl proceeded to help finish putting lettuce and tomato on a sandwich with her bare fingers. Then while still standing in the kitchen looking for something, she was pushing her long hair back behind her neck. I think I'll go back to ordering...
