Designing Dinners & Sagewood North Cafe — Restaurant in Sheridan

Just tried Designing Dinners for the very first time today. Came in early, about 10:30 and spoke with several of the staff. We was invited to go ahead and sit down and look over the menu and they would be with us shortly.

Our server was Sue and she was extremely nice, helpful, professional (yet personable) and knowledgeable. We ordered the Bronco on Dill Wheat and a Garden Gourmet. No soup or salad. We had coffee and hot tea. For desert, we each ordered slices of Blueberry Crumb Pie. We were going to have a slice of Cheesecake, but they did not offer plain Cheesecake.

They also do not do French Fries, they do not have a deep fryer. So chips are main option basically, with one or two others.

The place was quiet, clean and well taken care of. We never felt ignored or unimportant as customers. The staff was very attentive in all respects.

This restaurant is no more expensive than any other eatery in Sheridan, for the most part. You do have more expensive restaurants, but this is the norm price wise.

First time I had food from Designing Dinners I thought it was great, I ate chicken noodle soup and a sandwich. Simple, but tasty. Second time I tried one of their sandwiches, I got food poisoning. I’m thinking it was probably the sprouts on my sandwich that caused it, because nothing else seemed off or funky, and after doing some research, sprouts can cause food poisoning. I wish I had known that before I made the choice to eat a sandwich with sprouts on it. I don’t think I’ll be trying anything else, unfortunately. This was my first time experiencing food poisoning and it was an awful experience that made me lose trust...

This location is ultra-sweet, no pun included.

On soo many levels, good wholesome food, prepared and able to be picked up at a moment's notice.

In person dining, as well as call ahead take-out.

Try their Chokeberry Jelly and Jams among others'; The kind that mom used to make.

There's a saying in the South' when food is good; The saying is,... "They put their foot in that" and this place is no exception. The owners are warm and friendly and helpful anyway possible.
