Amazing $20 Steak Lunch at Wyoming Rib & Chop House! đŸ„©đŸ„° #food #steak #beef #travel #wyoming #sheridanwyoming #viajar #voyage #comida #yoga #ballet #dance #asianboy #america #cheapeats #dinner #lunch #essen #nourriture #

I’m just gonna get straight to the point. The food wasn’t rotten but it wasn’t great either, I got a wedge salad for $12 that had bacon bits and dressing on it, that’s it. The salad tasted sour (not the dressing, the lettuce). To load your baked potato is as the same price as a whole bowl of their chili. The fish and chips were flavorless and did not have a seasoned batter at all (not even salt). The service was spotty and slow. It was about 25-30 minutes after seating until our waitress finally came up to our table and asked what we wanted to drink, and then another hour and so for our entrees, it was not worth the wait to me or my family. Onto one of the two waitresses that kept switching coming to our table, one of them asked if my brother wanted bread with his soup, he then asked how much the bread was into which she replied “$1.25” and he said okay let’s do that. She brings the bread out and we finish our meal thereafter. We get the bill and she charged us $1.25 PER SLICE when he asked for (A) piece of bread, but she brought out multiple pieces. For that plate of 3 slices of bread, the extra bread that my brother didn’t ask for, was almost $4.00 added to an already $150 check. She failed to mention that she would be bringing out a plate of bread and that it wasn’t $1.25 it was $1.25 per slice, and it’s not like it was freshly prepared fresh dough fresh baked bread, it was similar to Texas toast to be honest. All in all, I wouldn’t go back there. The food was prepared in a basic manner and was pretty bland for the most part. The prices are insane for the portion and quality of food you get. Like the tiniest dish of almost $6 garlic mushrooms I got that seemed to be canned whole mushrooms with an incredibly faint garlic flavor. I went off of reviews and they seemed okay, I don’t know if we went on a bad day but if that’s how it is every day I would not recommend unless that’s the only thing around and you have money to waste.

Wyoming’s Rib & Chop House - Sheridan, Wyoming My visit to Wyoming’s Rib & Chop House in Sheridan was a culinary delight. As a steakhouse, they truly excelled in delivering a top-notch experience. I opted for the surf and turf, where the traditional lobster was substituted with Jamaican sugar salmon. The salmon was flaky, perfectly cooked, and had a subtle sweetness that was quite enjoyable. However, the real star of the meal was the steak. It was cooked to absolute perfection—tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. Paired with the sautĂ©ed mushrooms and onions, along with a rich, creamy horseradish, the steak was truly epic. The stuffed crab mushrooms added an extra layer of indulgence, making each bite a harmonious blend of textures and tastes. I chose to sit at the bar, where the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Engaging conversations with fellow patrons made the experience even more enjoyable. I accompanied my meal with a couple of 22-ounce bombs, which were just the right touch to round out the evening. Discussions ranged from ending slavery in America to freeing ourselves from income taxes and federal control—topics as rich and engaging as the food itself. Overall, my experience at Wyoming’s Rib & Chop House was exceptional. While the Jamaican sugar salmon was a pleasant surprise, it was the steak, paired with those perfectly sautĂ©ed mushrooms and onions, that truly stood out. Thank you to the team at Rib & Chop House for such an unforgettable dining experience!

We just relocated to the area and ate here today for the very first time and sadly, I’m tempted to say it may be the last. The service is the absolute worst I’ve ever experienced. The server ran in the door right before us obviously running late. She came up to our table and looked down and mumbled - we could barely understand what she said. We asked for a drink menu and it seemed like an inconvenience and was confusing to her. We asked about the specials and were met with the response of I don’t know, haven’t looked at that yet. We ordered drinks and kept being met with the question of ‘do we want anything else with that?’ when it wasn’t an applicable question. She came back after several minutes and informed us that two of our drinks were seasonal and were no longer available. I asked if there were new seasonals in their place and received the response yeah but I don’t know what they are. She came back awhile after we ordered to ask how we wanted things prepared and it wasn’t even applicable for some of the items. Later she came back again and stated that they were out of potatoes until an hour or so from now (which is what I had ordered quite some time earlier) and what do you want instead. Didn’t bring a menu back for me to look for something else, so my only response option was I just won’t have anything. Everything was stated while she mumbled down to the floor. My family dining with me said the food was good, and some of the other servers seemed friendly and very helpful, but this particular server was the absolute worst. Also wasn’t the most professional looking with the blue hair and blatant tattoos, but that could have been overlooked if the attitude and ability weren’t horrible. Please provide more training and direction to...

First of all this is a review for the Sheridan, Wyoming location. Found this place on Google as one of the better places to eat in Sheridan. Checking the photos it gives you an impression that it's going to be somewhat a fine dining experience. Upon entering the establishment I realized that this was not the case at all, but thought well it's not the place but the food and service. So upon entering no one was in the front to greet or sit anyone. I waited a few minutes and clearly some available staff were just passing by or ignoring the fact that someone was at the front, one down. Finally I got seated and the whole water and menu came in about 10 mins later, 2 down. Ordered the hand cut ribeye at $32 got mushroom soup , loaded mashed potatoes, and asparagus. Keep in mind the mash and asparagus were on the signature and premium sides section. First the mushroom soup came, it was watery and mushrooms shriveled and lifeless. This looked like it was dumped out of the cheapest mushroom soup can and served on a tiny bowl, also was too salty. The steak came next, it was nothing of what the pictures show, the mushrooms on it didn't look fresh nor did they taste like it was. The steak, well it tasted like my buddy's cooking who didn't know how to cook steak, hardly warranted the price posted on the menu. No crust nor grill marks on it. The mash potatoes were plain and not even warm. The only thing that was done well was the soda and the asparagus. Now I'm not saying one should avoid this place but for what it was made out to be and the prices, it really falls short, 3 down. If you're looking for decent food that'll make you say wow and with decent prices, this is...
