It took 5 minutes for someone to acknowledge me and take my app order. After that, they said it would be 12 minutes for the unspicy chicken. They didn’t read back my order and immediately told me to pull up to the window. I waited there for 3 minutes before turning up my music to get their attention. The manager finally asked me to pull forward to wait. From the time I checked in with my name, it took 25 minutes to receive my order.
The app also didn’t correctly place my red beans side. I returned the fries that were mistakenly included and asked for my red beans instead. Upon leaving, I mentioned that I should’ve been given the fries as a courtesy for the inconvenience, but that didn’t happen. To make matters worse, the red beans were hard, and the chicken legs were tiny. My sister, trying Texas Popeyes for the first time, said her chicken was dark red and not cooked well.
Most of the frustration with this location comes from having to wait too long before even placing your app order, followed by an even longer wait because they rarely have food ready as it should be. While mistakes happen occasionally, the bigger issue is the lack of preparedness and care for...

There were two females with headsets on I even said hello at the speaker no one answered. The guy took our order then proceeded to make our order without any gloves on or washing his hands. I guess the female had told him I was looking the next thing you know he stops to go wash his hands but did not replace the food he has touched already. Online order and payment at 9pm, store is SUPPOSED to be open until 10p. A worker who wouldn't answer the speaker because he was way too high, stated they were closed. When we told him we ordered online he said all they had were chicken thighs and refused to fill our order. He also couldn't refund the order. The online site won't let you speak to a human and when you make it through their bot to have your order refunded, it says they will take 5-7 days. SO.... avoid this store like the plague!!!! I'm pretty sure at this point I'm actually better off because the chicken probably would have made us sick. $23 is a small price to pay for what I found about this Popeyes! You won't be in business much longer with employees like that and the policies you have. Best wishes!
