went here with my parents as part of our long beach vacation on Saturday June 8th 2024. We were driving around long beach, and came across this ice cream place. There is side parking and we parked there. It was also quite busy, as there were people waiting, but the line did move fast. They have lots of homemade flavors to choose from. The person who helped us was so nice. I ordered 2 scoops: Cinnamon toast crunch on the bottom, and cotton candy on top in a medium cup. Girl who took care of us, even asked if it mattered which one was on top, i chose the cotton candy to be on top. There are also tons of topping to choose from, i chose gummy bears. My dad ordered 2 scoops of chocolate peanut butter cup in a medium cup. There are tables and chairs, and benches outside where one can eat their ice cream. Paid with cash, and left a tip. Sat down and enjoyed the ice cream. The Cotton candy was really sweet, and enjoyable, and i enjoyed the cinnamon toast crunch flavor as well. love the cereal too.(and it tastes just like the cereal. ) We both enjoyed our ice cream and it hit the sweet spot. highly recommend this location! I was super excited for the new Ice Cream place in Ship Bottom. Unfortunately, while the taste of the ice cream was fantastic there were some glaring problems. First, there’s some unique flavors, yet the staff could not explain what was in some of the flavors (found out later, Nutella and some other cool stuff). Sizing was wildly inconsistent and not at all worth the price. For example, the kiddie cone was appropriately small, the regular was barely any larger, so small that I even asked that I had been served the regular size. In contrast the milkshake was appropriately sized, because the cup forced a good amount. Lastly, their new wooden tables outside were super sticky. They probably need to be painted and washed often.

My review details problems that are easily corrected, I hope this constructive criticism will be addressed. Admittedly the server indicated it was their first day on the job, understandable, but the owner should ensure consistency of product regardless(training). I highly doubt my tiny single scoop “regular” was what is meant to be a regular size, either way, I left...

Trust me when I tell you, place has phenomenal ice cream. One of the girls behind the counter was a bit snarky, like 8 kids are supposed to know the difference between sugar, waffle and cake cones (my advice, give them what's traditional unless otherwise requested). Minor hiccup, I'm not picky. Service was quick and one salty employee can't ruin an otherwise phenomenal establishment.

I've had A LOT of ice cream across the country, including Wisconsin and Vermont which supposedly has the best. Homemade ice cream is homemade ice cream, and this place has the freshest ingredients and tastiest ice cream you'll find within 50 miles of the island.

Plus we all LOVED the ring game outside by the tables. That alone guarantees our return. Highly recommend and we're a loyal group and so long as things stay the same we'll continue common back!
