Speakeasy Pizzeria & Restaurant — Restaurant in Ship Bottom

We ordered after reading all the mostly positive reviews. I have to wonder what some of these people are thinking. Start with the good, the girl who took our order was nice and did a great job. We ordered takeout after learning they don’t deliver. Food was ready when promised.

The bad the pizza is a barely cooked thin crust version of frozen pizza you remember eating as a kid. The dust of the flour still on your lips as you try to hold the slice down. I think it’s the marinara that kills it because the buffalo chicken pizza wasn’t nearly as bad but the chicken parm hero was like a couple chicken tenders on a roll with the same unpleasant sauce from the pizza.

I’ve never went online before and given a bad review but our meal was deserving of this milestone. I’m sorry but there will be someone else not from the area looking for honest advice. Don’t get pizza or anything with sauce try...

Sad this place sucks... First off the outside appearance doesnt matchup with the inside, which is dark and depressing... The hamburger meat tasted and smelled old... The toppings on the burger was old.. Lettuce wasn't crispy but old and flimsy... The lady didn't fully cook my French fries.... So I asked her to drop my fries back in the oil... then she practically overcooked...i just threw my burger in the garbage.. a waste of 8.50...Just sad because the place was crowded... Don't be fooled by the crowd the people that patronize this place either for kids, unawars such as myself, or don't care about good clean food.. I was better off going to Wawa...

Amazing place for a quick Italian dinner! The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars was that it was a little warm inside the restaurant. However, it wasn’t a major issue and was still comfortable enough to eat and may have been due to it being so crowded. The food was amazing! Unlike many other Italian restaurants in LBI their prices are very reasonable. With their pasta you get garlic bread and a salad. However, many Italian restaurants on the island charge $20+ for pasta and you get nothing with it. I highly...
