Pizza Man — Restaurant in Shippensburg

My first meal experience at Pizza Man was fabulous! A little off the beaten path, I called the restaurant and the female employee guided me over the phone to their location. My waitress, Amber, was like no other! She was attentive to my and all the other customer's needs. She made the rounds to each of our tables, taking our orders, making recommendations, serving our food hot, refilling drinks, clearing dirty dishes from our table, and getting my to go order ready. She was pleasant to every customer, ALL the time I was there. She carried my to go order to my car, since I was walking with a cane. The restaurant was clean, modern and inviting. The restroom was spotless and in order. I ordered the lunch cheesesteak and fries. It was delicious and properly made the way I ordered it. I ordered a meat lover's pizza and Antipasto Salad to go, and a Cannolli. The salad was so fresh and tasty and made 2 meals for me, as the small pizza did as well. My boyfriend and I have always loved this place and typically order here once or twice a week... idk if they have changed hands or are just cutting corners. I understand covid may make prices change or cause some ingredients not to be available, but the quality and consistency continues to fall below acceptable. I ordered a pizza one time and it had no sauce?! Had to return and get a new one.. two hour ordeal. Next pizza had so much sauce it drowned the pizza and we had to scrape off the sauce. Last time we ordered our sauces didn't come which we were charged for,and I was missing my salad. So tonight we ordered two cheesesteaks, cheese sticks and a salad. $29. They finally got their sub rolls back so we were looking forward to this. Bf ordered extra cheese on his, but said they must have put the extra on my sub? Called to just check on our order and the customer service was horrible. I completely understand being short staffed, everywhere is, but there was no reason to recieve the responses we did, all we wanted was the time frame on our delivery. We were hung up on two times, interupted and screamed at, we requested the order be refunded and was denied, even after I was asked if I wanted it or wanted to cancel. I was told it was already paid for and they wouldn't refund me. I don't usually leave negative reviews because stuff happens but there was no call for any of this. A simple "We are short handed it's running late, but it should be X amount of time," would have been sufficient. There was no call for what happened, very unprofessional.
