Lake Street Bar — Restaurant in Shreveport

This is one of Shreveport's very few Black owned clubs! They have been open for about 7 years. The owner has put his heart into it making this a comfortable establishment, and you can tell!! Parking for this venue is way better than parking downtown. It's free to park. There's an outside patio, and for those that would like, they also sell cigars. There's been a cool vibe every time I've been. When you walk in there are bar stools along the bar, tables and chairs in the center and a couch space, out of the way, over to the left. They've had concerts, comedy shows, NFL/NBA watch nights, you name it. Sound system is booming! Bartender is cool, polite and professional. Every third Sunday at 5:00 p.m. there is a comedy show that's pretty funny! Comedians from our area and beyond come and take over the mic. On Tuesdays they have "Tacos and Tequila". If you order the nacho be sure to get a to go box lol. They have beef, chicken and brisket, tacos and nachos. I had to get two tacos because the first one was too tasty! You can get 2 different kinds of cheeses, some kind of special sauce, onions, jalapeno peppers, lettuce and tomatoes to dress it up!
