I have been going regularly to Pham's since they opened, and the main theme of my review is consistency. The food is consistently good, the customer service is consistently superb, and service is consistently quick. I've never been disappointed.
Almost every time I go I try to get something new off the menu, as well as order my usual Banh Mi sandwich. Their Lemongrass Beef Banh Mi is my favorite in town. It's so so good! I would say, if you've never tried Vietnamese food before, start with this.
Everything I've tried, I have been so impressed with. The flavors are on point, the temperature is perfect, and it's just like a warm hug on a plate.
Their Pho is great and their Pad Thai is chef's kiss. If you are a fan of spicy food, they will make it however spicy you like. If you are not a fan of spicy food, they can tone dishes down for you. When you order, they will ask your spice level preference and tell you if any dishes contain spicy peppers, etc.
One of my favorite reasons for going to Pham's is not only the food, but the customer service. Everyone who works there is kind and pleasant. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome. I have never had to wait long to order, even during lunch rush, and they always bring dishes out quickly and are made fresh to order.
Also, the amount of food you get for the price is a great deal, in my opinion. Also, they have a rewards program that rewards you for being a repeat customer. I'm not sure how to sign up for it, because it automatically recognized my card when I used it the following times. So, that's convenient and was a pleasant surprise when I went to check out.
The atmosphere is very casual and my kids enjoy going because there are pictures of animals all over the walls. It's very tastefully done, but it's not a "romantic" date place. So, just be aware.
I love supporting local businesses, but I especially enjoy businesses that do something so well! You won't be...
Read moreSolid Americanized Viet food. Pros: Delicious! (Let's be honest this is the most important) Workers/Owners were very pleasant
Cons: Fairly pricey for Viet food (maybe I'm biased though) Not as authentic as it could be (it's a fusion for sure)
My Vietnamese wife and I went here tonight because of the high rating and we were not disappointed but we were not WOWed either. It was good, but definitely not as authentic as we would have liked. First starting with the menu, I came looking for a com dac biet or bun dac biet and got the next closest thing to a bun dac biet. The sauce was not traditional nuoc mam, but instead it was what they said a "pineapple sauce". The dish was still delicious and I would get it again. The "pineapple sauce" still was good, I just wish it was more traditional...where's the spicy red peppers or garlic?? My wife's banh mi was delicious! Straight delicious! I definitely would recommend it. The only downside and it is a big downside is the price. Yes it's made fresh, but almost $10 for a Banh mi? Come on now!
Still have yet to try the pho and will come back and edit once...
Read moreFood ordered and eaten in store has been fine! We have had a serious issue with our Doordash order, so I'm leaving this review here in hopes that management (or ownership) will see and care. Copy of Doordash review posted below.
F1. Fresh Spring Rolls with Prawn (2 Rolls) are great, as always. The TOM YUM TOM YUM SOUP however, did NOT come as advertised. It is shown to have shrimp in it but there is no shrimp in the soup. It looks like it might eb chicken, but as someone who CANNOT eat pork, I'm worried not knowing what this mystery meat is??? The taste is good, but I'm upset I didn't receive the food I believed I order. Menu needs to be updated.
We also requested in the directions for both the spring rolls and the soup (since it was supposed to contain shrimp) to be bagged SEPARATELY from the rest of the food because a member of our group has a shellfish allergy. Our items were NOT baggd separately as requested so that made our...
