Tiki Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Shreveport

My mother-n-law and I went there just to see and try something new. We walked in and the atmosphere immediately changed around some. We notice stuff (food, ex. Lasagna) was being tucked away out of reach and on our way out the customer that was sitting on the stool closest to the door, gave us a bewilder look as if we don't belong. Yet she still tip the singer and walked out. Actions speaks louder than words. We are going back just to make sure it wasn't our imaginations. Then maybe I'll give it 5 stars. This place has old and out dated deco. The bartender was loud and rude. There were only 10 people in the bar and she seemed like it was an issue to wait on us. I think her name was Lindsay. But I will never go back to this place. We decided to try Lee's next door, and let me me tell you it was the best decision we made. The decor is a bit old, but the bartender was pleasant and attenative to our request. She suggested new drinks, and never left our class empty. We will be going back...

This used to be a great place until one of the bartenders threatened to kick me out because I was trying to get my alcoholic friend out of there in an attempt to avoid dui or a wreck. Note to bartenders: If someone looks at you and clearly appears to be worried and says NO MORE DRINKS.....listen to them! I do love this place but have lost all respect for bartenders that care more about their tips than they do...
