Let me first apologize for the mistaken review that was placed on your establishment. In the heat of the moment, due to the fire in my eyes from being humiliated and disrespected by another Black-owned business, I mistakenly attributed our experience to Walk-On's Sports Bistreaux. This was a grave error.
The Class of Booker T. Washington 1984 had an exceptional experience at your establishment. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and it promised—and delivered—an exceptional dining experience. Your staff was professional, courteous, and attentive, making our reunion a memorable one for all the right reasons. Review for Walk-On's Sports Bistreaux

They efficiently managed our large group, ensuring that everyone’s needs were met promptly. We appreciated the wide variety on the menu, which catered to all tastes and preferences within our group. The appetizers were a hit, and the main courses did not disappoint. Everything was served hot and fresh, adding to our overall dining enjoyment.

Read moreAlright, I will NOT be returning ever. Tonight's customer service did it. If you're looking to buy a good Shrimp Poboy in town, it's NOT here. As a frequent customer, there was so much shrimp spilling out of the sandwich that you couldn't really eat it without it falling apart. Those were the type of sandwiches we were used to getting...That's why we kept coming back!
I make a curbside order for another. A young lady with some terrible long red weave came out. She was kind at first, but I offered her a $2 tip, she waved it off, shook her head, and rejected it. She turned her back on me and went back inside. I had NEVER in my life seen anything like that. I get if businesses don't allow it, but at least thank the person that was trying to bless you! She made it seem like she was offended.
I took the sandwich home, only for my mother to make a complaint over the phone becuase there were exactly 3 pieces of shrimp on the po'boy. That's basically $13 for just big bread. In inconvenience, I went back out, notified one of the women at the curbside cashier desk. That woman from before was there and just looking at her made me GLAD she rejected my tip. She did not deserve it anyway. They were on their phones, by the way. I had to WAIT for them to acknowledge me. She said they will make another. I waited an hour. I got up to check. It wasn't ready. I waited 20 more minutes. The woman went to get the remake order. She could have at least come look for me to let me know it was ready! I was nearby! A customer shouldn't have to keep getting up to go check on an order they got wrong from the start. She just handed me the bag and said nothing. Did not apology for the trouble. There wasn't even a manager that appropriately addressed me about it. When I checked the order, it was almost exactly the same and I would not be surprised if it was the same order as before. They just added an extra shrimp as if to toy with us. I went through all that for barely a difference. I was exhausted by then and gave up.
There doesn't seem to be some good old fashion customer service. We just have obnoxious and passive...
Read moreThe food was good so I I still gave it four stars. Avoid the waffle fries and go with another side for the 1.29 up charge. They are plain and not seasoned. The mozzarella sticks are kind of pricey for 11.99 for four logs, but they are amazing. Add a blackened chicken breast to your meal. It's well worth the three dollar upcharge. Catfish portions are about half what i expected for filets in a restaurant, but maybe it was an off day. I advise asking the price of the liquor as my friend ordered a margarita that was 13 dollars and it came in a congac type glass. I usually go in hungry and undecided, but i know I like the gumbo for the. 2.99 upcharge with any meal. I ask for it first as an appetizer, and then order usually no problem. The bartender upcharged me to 6.99 regular price for the gumbo. She charged my friend I was eating with 2.99, and they were brought out at the same time. I explained to the waiter beforehand what i wanted and specified that i wanted it for 2.99 beforehand as an add-on. 😕 She refused to correct the ticket, thus forcing me to negate her tip, which I hated doing as i usually tip 20% at the least. I felt that this was on purpose as I was eating with a female friend who ate way more than me, and she had to go back and split the bill because she assumed we were together beforehand. I am pretty patient, so i don't care that she was flirting with a guy at the bar or that two of my dishes did not come how i ordered them, and she did correct them. Remember, she had only one check at first, so it easily could have been added at the right price.🤷 I am not going to knock the whole restaurant for this, so I'll still give it four stars, but I watch every dollar in...
