There is a new place in town! I have been watching and waiting for it to open. I was so excited when I drove by and saw the soft opening sign. I ran in to take a look at the menu for when we came back later. The owner greeted me with a smile and was so happy to tell me all about his fabulous new restaurant. He took me on a little tour and it was quite interesting. When you order a cocktail, there is actually a computer system that makes that for you. Feel like a beer? Well they have just about every kind you could want and you get to serve yourself so you get the exact amount that you want. What a great way to try different beers until you find your perfect one. Everything is thought of in great detail, including all of the monogram dinnerware and glasses even right down to the nice heavyweight silverware. You can tell that he is very proud of his new restaurant and I would be too! There are so many interesting facts about the restaurant. Did you know the iced tea is the same iced tea they serve with the White House? The artwork is beautiful and was commissioned just for them. The media wall is just stunning and takes you to all kinds of places. The restrooms are large with four stalls and very clean. Now let's talk about the food. We ordered a Falafel starter. This included sixth of them and came with pickles, pickled turnips, which were beautiful bright pink and tahini sauce. They were very delicious. We split a buffalo chicken pizza. Their pizzas are all one size and are about the size of a medium pizza. There was so much flavor in this pizza and the crust was just perfect. There is a broad range of items on the menu that you can choose from. Currently the menu is changing daily as they're going through their soft opening. All of the staff are extremely nice and happy to answer any of your questions regarding items on the menu. Do you like having options, this is the place for you. You can go into the café and just have a delicious cup of coffee or tea and a light snack. Just want a cocktail and maybe an appetizer, they have a huge bar that you can sit at. Would like a nice dinner for a family or date night, they have lots of tables for that. They even have an area toward the back if you have a large group. Eventually, they will be having live entertainment here as well. We will definitely be back and will be bringing some...
Read moreFinally! Some very fresh and well seasoned flavored food in the area. Came here for the highly anticipated soft opening & tried a few of the options on the temporary menu along with trying out the digital beer taps. Ordered the bone in wings and they were fried to a perfect crisp, well seasoned without the sauce, but I had buffalo sauce on the side since I was sharing with my husband and it was some good wings! Yes! Their twisted fries are a cross of steak fries and a lightly seasoned curly fry and oh so good. Then I had their Mediterranean kebab mix tray with beef, chicken & lamb grilled to perfection and FULL of flavor which came with rice and naan bread and some colorful tasty veggies of some sort. The beer variety on tap was an absolute favorite. They only charge by the ounce that you pour, so taste many beers without breaking your wallet. I would say that all of the food was priced to accommodate this current economy but you get quality food. Having met the owner Sonny, I’m certain that all will remain the same and better when they’re fully open. A 10 out 10 experience with that...
Read moreJust visited My Place in St. Louis for the first time, and what a fantastic experience! The atmosphere is warm and inviting — it really does feel like your place.
The food was outstanding. The chicken wings were crispy, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. The mixed grill plate was tender and full of smoky flavor — you could taste the freshness in every bite. We also tried the pizza and fries, both excellent — the pizza had the perfect balance of crust, cheese, and toppings, and the fries were crisp and seasoned just right.
But the star for me was the pita bread — soft, fluffy, and served fresh out of the oven. Nothing like I’ve had before — it was absolutely delicious and took the whole...
