THE best restaurant in Sidney, OH. Affordable, CONSISTENT, delicious. I've eaten at Cazadores at least once a month, sometimes as much as once a week, for the past 3 years and they continue to amaze me. The food is consistently exactly as I expect based on the menu descriptions and/or previous times eating the same dish.
Everything from your basic crunchy tacos to specialty tacos (Pepe's!!) to the specialty dishes like Enchiladas Bandera and Papa Del Amor - everything is served hot, tastes delicious, and it's usually on the table in under 15 minutes. Even at lunch time. The longest I ever had to wait was on a Friday night, around 6pm (dinner rush), the restaurant was packed with a line waiting to be seated, and it still only took about 30 minutes from the server taking the order to food hitting the table.
The servers are wonderful. Their personalities and proficiency in English vary - some servers are smiley, talkative and extra friendly; others are all business - but they're all excellent at making sure you have the food you ordered and the drinks you want. (I'm an introvert so I don't need my server to smile at me every time they come to the table or have a full-on conversation.) I haven't had a bad experience with any server at Cazadores. Even the newer servers, who didn't/don't speak the best English yet, were still able to take the order correctly, deliver the food and drinks, and check on me.
The price to value ratio is unbeatable. For around $10-$14 you'll be stuffed with yummy food. Of course your total will go up if you order their margaritas or other alcoholic beverages, but those are fairly priced and they're not stingy with the alcohol either.
Take out is equally reliable! The only advice I would give is don't get their crunchy tacos to go unless you're prepared for less-than crunchy shells. It's unavoidable - a takeaway dish locks in the heat/steam of the hot food, so if you're ordering something crispy/crunchy, you can expect it to lose a bit of its crunchiness the longer your food is waiting for you to pick it up. So I save the crunchy tacos for when I'm dining in, and I get soft tacos (Pepe's Tacos!) or enchiladas to go.
If you like Mexican foods and you're tired of fast food and restaurants letting you down in both price and quality, go have yourself an enjoyable sit-down experience at Cazadores. You won't be...
Read moreSo today I called to pick up my usual order a 3 item combination dinner 2 beef burritos and a chicken enchilada with a side of hot salsa...when I called a man picked up the phone and only said "hello"...okay so I had to ask if this was cazadores he said yes and I said I would like to place an order for pickup and he said OK go ahead. At this point I said I want the 3 items combination dinner 2 beef burritos and 1 chicken enchilada with a side of hot salsa...he made me repeat it 4 times then he says hold on then hands the phone to a lady, the lady said what can I get for you?... and I said the order again and she understood the first time but neither the man nor the lady repeated the order back to me...she says give her 25 minutes which being my usual order I know it only takes 15 minutes to complete...after all these red flags I'm already skeptical and expecting my order to be wrong...so I pulled up to the drive thru window and the man that was on the phone earlier is at the window...I said I have a pick up order and he said "2 burritos" I said yes I believe so...so what happens next the man hands me 2 bags with 3 orders instead of 1 so before he charged my card I told him he gave me 9 items instead of 3 and he said yes like he was right and I was wrong and started smiling and arguing with me and insisting that was my order until I pulled up the menu on my phone and showed him specifically what I ordered then he asked for the bags back he then took the extra orders and kept the bottom order which was now smashed plus cold...I called to check my balance to make sure they didn't overcharge me and luckily they did not so there's 1 positive...when I got home I reheated my order in the microwave...so I dig into the food and quickly realize they gave me 2 beef burritos and 1 beef tamale lol...like I said over and over again 2 beef burritos and 1 chicken enchilada so the man tried to charge me triple for an order that was wrong anyways...I think the simple solution is either train the guy that's been there longer than anyone else to read back the order to a customer or completely keep him off order duty so you don't waste anymore money or food on incorrect orders...which means no negative reviews...so my advice to customers would be always order in person and make sure they read your order back to...

I have visited this restaurant on two different occasions. My first time stopping there I waited for approximately fifteen to twenty minutes after being seated before finally walking out because no wait staff ever came by or acknowledged me. My second visit I ordered chicken chimichangas. After a long wait, the chimichangas ultimately came out. I cut into them and they were beef. I put the plate notably aside to wait for my server to come by. As she was brining my check that is when she noticed something was wrong. I explained I ordered chicken and the took the plate away and returned approximately ten minutes with the correct order unfortunately though the chicken was very cold. It was not luke warm it was cold. I told the server that the food was cold and her response was it just came out of the fryer. I did not say the outside was cold I told her that the inside was cold. I told her to touch it. I said never mind and I left. I cannot comment on the food as I have yet to eat over two visits. There will not be a third. Some of the worst restaurant experiences I have experienced in...
