It was absolutely appalling. Its veterans day at 5pm when we arrive. Decently busy but not like crowded and packed. Maybe half the dinning room is full at most but most likely a little less. So we get there at 5pm and wait 4 minutes or so to get sat while many of the workers just are standing in the back and looking at us. 5:07 our server finally comes after we got sat by the manager (more from him later). Says that she has 2 tables in front of us and will be over in a bit. 5:10 server finally comes back around and gets our drinks of a coke no ice and a sprite. 5:14 comes back with our drinks and my wife just gets the 3 piece pretzel sticks and beer cheese and i get a double cheeseburger with a side of frys and a buddie boy. As soon as we place our order the server then goes to another table who i assume is family members and just starts talking for a few minutes and not putting our order in. 5:30 server then comes around to other tables and full on just sits with that table and just starts talking for 5 minutes in the booth ignoring everyone and everything. To me at this point that already says no tip due to them being way more important than everything else. Server leaves and now at 3:39 25 minutes after we place our order server comes over and starts apologizing saying they have new cooks in the back and that our order is the next one up. 5:43 the server then again is sitting at that same table talking while a completely different person serves our food. They had apparently forgotten the pretzel sticks and cheese. I get almost half way done with my food when they finally bring it out. On my food my burger was fine wasnt super hot like you know it should be on the wait, my frys were luke warm at best and it says on the menu grilled ham and melted swiss and that buddy boy was just a cold cut sandwich which wasnt bad since i dont mind cold cut ham but it should have been hot as it suggests being a grilled piece of ham. Now onto the pretzel sticks. They bring them out and they were only like 3 inches long and maybe like a half inch thick pretzels for over 5 dollars and when my wife trys to take a bite they were harded than a rock. Litteraly i could have pressed on a rock and it would have squished more than those. My wife was like im not worried about it im just not going to eat it and i said i am worried on it since its such a big waste of money. I called the server over and i bluntly said "i want you to press on the pretzel sticks". She was like um what but did it and as soon as she did she understood of oh these are unedible and i said i want to get it removed. Said she would get the manager to take it off. Roughly 5:47 at this point. I am done eating and both our drinks are gone. We then had to wait almost 15 minutes to get the bill and the manager to come out to then only say "i removed it from the bill is there anything i can do for you?" Which i said bluntly no we were waiting to leave. Also to make another statement on him when he came out the server had dropped a napkin on the floor and in front us he said "you know if you had a tray you wouldnt be dropping stuff." Dude i worked as a manager for 7 years before i quit due to upper management and i would never, EVER, say anything like that in front of a customer. One embarrassing the team member, 2 making it seem like your running the place with an iron fist which clearly your not due to th long wait and the poor food quality. We finally had received our bill and then had to wait 5 minutes to cash out which our server ended up having to do it due to no one being delegated to run the cash register. I had a clear view of the clock and all these times were exact. Waste of money and time. We drive all the way from St Mary's to receive this. Will never come back and hope this place shuts down like the rest that are...
Read moreThe Covid restrictions here are confusing. When you enter there is a confusing sign that tells you to pick your table and scan a QR code to place your order. A group of 7 arrived before us waiting to be seated, they constantly yelled for someone's attention to know if they seat themselves or wait. No employee was willing to explain the procedure. They finally seated themselves and waited 20 minutes for waitstaff, not knowing they had to order from their phone or at the carryout. They left disgusted at no service. I was just as confused but luckily someone in our party had gone through the procedure before and told us. There was only one staff member serving the restaurant, she was also cleaning tables.
I felt sorry for the poor girl, I made sure I over tipped the poor girl. This place needs better management and more staff. While we were ordering I overheard another employee stating to I assumed was her manager about her working 12+ hours and she was not going to stay a minute longer.
The food was good but the overall experience was poor. No wonder there was very little customers...
Read moreWent to frischs tonight to have dinner with our birthday boy we were a party of 8. Took about 15 minutes to get seated, got to our table and took another 10 minutes before the waitress took our drink order. Once we finally got our food we were almost done the waitress comes to our table and starts clearing our plates even though we are currently still eating off of them and my father told her he wasn't done eating and she said oh there's nothing left on it he said I had a few fries left I was not done eating and so she decided to be a smart ass and came back with a tiny plate with 2 fries on it and said here you go dont throw a fit. She was the absolute most awful waitress we have ever had! Her name was Sierra g. We will not be going back for dinner again. We will stick with our waitresses on the morning shift who treat their customers with respect and care! Even the customers around us were in shock by her behavior and apologized that not only were our small children witnessing this woman be so rude but that our dinner was ruined by a...
