I used to eat at Hot Head Burritos 2-4 times a week minimum when it opened in Sidney years back. In fact, I went on a diet in 2019, lost over 100 pounds eating more sensibly, consisting of Hot Heads on my lunch break several times a week. I still love the food and the concept. For the past 2 years or so, I eat at this location less and less. The management has drastically changed and the quality is hit and miss. I believe it's now ran by Ralph and Ariel King. The last time I was there, the manager was sitting on stool by a warming unit, playing with his phone and seemed annoyed that I was there. None of the employees were wearing uniforms and not professionally dressed. The food was not fresh and the restaurant was dirty. After looking at my work uniform, the manager began ranting and raving about a personal conflict with a fellow employee of my employer. I asked him to not involve me in his personal conflict as it had absolutely nothing to do with me. While I was aware of the issue, I didn't know any of the parties involved till that day much less where the parties worked. He lost his temper and told me I am now "banned" from all Hot Head Burritos and to get out now. I have not returned to any locations since. This location needs drastic, emergent changes right now.
I've contacted the corporate office and asked to hear back from the franchisee. It took the office and a week and 3 calls to get back to me. I've not heard from...
Read moreMan I hate leaving such a bad review because I love hotheads but it seems that every time I go in there they have all of the food bins out and they're doing a deep clean, flushing the water out and wiping down every surface before filling it back up and taking their time to do it with no sense of urgency. Most of the time I have to wait up to 10 minutes (in some cases a lot longer) before I can even start ordering my food even if it's just me in line. Ordered a fountain drink but for some reason none of the pops had any carbonation, after checking four different ones I threw the cup away and the manager told me to just grab a bottle from the cooler (which is one expensive bottle of pop if you ask me). None of the managers I have met there have been professional in the slightest. They're constantly, as I said before, pulling all of the food bins and making everybody wait while letting the food get cold and dry before serving them and they're slow, rude, and stingy with ingredients. I've been to this location on my work lunch many many times but the poor service is pretty consistent. Only seems to be the manager(s), quite honestly don't think I've had any problems with the regular employees. The only reason I'm taking the time to write this long review is because tonight is probably the last night I step foot in there. Something really needs to be done, seeing as that I'm not the only one having...
Read moreWe love our local hot head here in sidney as I used to work there. However last week when we ordered our food there was a rude purple and pink haired woman who seemed to be in charge complaining about a really sweet young new girl who was doing an excellent job. She was friendly & cooking some fresh veggies & the mean lady was complaining she was doing it wrong.. well we ate those veggies and they were better than usual so please keep doing it wrong new girl. To top it off mean woman couldnt even roll my burrito, she rolled it into a perfect ball & broke it so had to use 2 tortilla shells which was impossible to eat. New girl was everything you want in customer service and I wish she rolled my burrito, at least she would have had an excuse for not being able to roll it. I have been in similar positions myself and could tell the mean lady was just jealous of the nice young girl, there was no reason to be rude to her. It's sad to see most people in charge at restaurants are just bully's who think they are cool cause they are in a position of power but as Mitch says in the movie waiting being the coolest person at your restaurant job is like being the smartest kid with...
