Perry's Joint — Restaurant in Sierra Madre

This is my favorite sandwich shop in all of l.A! What I love about this shop is that the sandwiches are fantastic. They're better than any place i've been to, even jersey Mike's. It's like an old-fashioned sandwich shop. But I think the best part is the service! Not only are they quick, everyone is very kind and they address you a sir or madam. It threw me for a loop when I first went there because everyone was so kind and the service was so good, That had not happened in a long time from a lot of the places that I go to. I was just discussing with my wife and friends how service has really gone downhill? And a lot of the institutions that y ou go to they always want a tip for doing nothing! BLACKLISTED. I saw good reviews on FB and ND about Perry’s Joint and excited to try and we ordered around 12:50.

Still waiting around 1:20ish & asked and responded “your order not yet called”

I was standing by the prep counter and realized my orders weren’t prep at all.

Waited over 30 min and people behind us already got their orders. Asked again and was told it’s being prepared.

We requested refund at around 1:36. Staff apologized with an attitude - we felt it was more like what do ya wanna me to do?? It was very passive aggressive.

We understand it’s a busy day. But customer service sucks. There were 5 people working in the kitchen and they missed our order.

I've been to Perry's multiple times and always order 4+ sandwich. Was told to pick up in 25min today for 8 sandwiches. Upon arrival, I paid and was not informed that I would have to wait another 30 min for my sandwiches. My phone order was placed at 1:20pm but did not receive my food until 2:15pm. I am aware they were also working on other orders but it looked like they "paused" my order in order to complete other smaller orders and after inquiring, they started working on completing the rest of my order. What's disappointing is that all the veggie combo sandwiches were smaller portions compared to the other sandwiches.
