Punchy's Tavern — Restaurant in Sierra Vista

I visited this establishment last night to play pool, listen to music, and have some drinks with 3 other friends. We were having a blast running up a good tab even purchased drinks for others enjoying their night there. I Spent money selecting music my friends and I wanted to hear. EVERY THING was going well until the bartender grabbed the remote to the juke box and skipped a song we selected. Which I had no issue with. But when we asked her why... in a cold unfriendly way we basicly were told that kind of music isnt welcome or wanted in this establishment. Then when asked why have a jukebox she said she has no clue why the owners have it in there. I don't how you can spend 178 dollars at a bar and tip 100 and have this interesting interaction with a server. maybe I am reading to much into it maybe they do not like rap or hip-hop maybe black people should just be quiet and listen to rock and country all night but it happened and i do not think I'll ever tip there again might play pool and blast classical music on the...

My friends and I are OLD! We go to punchy's for lunch,a couple of drinks, and to play on the shuffle board table. Mercedes ,the bar tender is amazing, wecoming and fantastic! She remembers us and our drinks even tho we come once a week from Sonoita and Patagonia . The food truck out back serves awsome Sonora dogs and wagu burgers. The prices are fantastic!
