I usually have good experiences here, but last night was not one of those nights. My credit card kept getting declined at the drive through, which for me is not something that happens....ever. So I tell them it's a problem with their machine. The manager at the window just stood their staring at me with judgement in his eyes, instead of trying to find a solution. I DONT KNOW....MAYBE TRY A DIFFERENT MACHINE!? If I'm telling you the card is fine, maybe don't assume I'm lying to you? I get that it probably happens all the time, but give people the benefit of the doubt. So I drive home, call my credit card company. As I thought, nothing is wrong with my card. The rep tells me they don't show that any attempts to charge the card were made. So I drive all the way back to Wendy's and order again, but this time at the counter. Before completing my order, I advise the clerk about what happened and requested some form of compensation for my wasted time and the embarrassment it caused me. (Let me also say at this point that I have never done this before). The clerk speaks to the manager who tells him to relay to me that he can't compensate me in anyway, and instead offers me the number to the corporate office. I run my card for the order and low and behold it goes through THE FIRST TIME! Now, I was advised that the manager himself would be bringing me the phone number, but again the clerk comes back with it. (So this guy won't even come and speak with me face to face?!) I ask to speak with him. When he arrives I ask him simply "I know that you can do more to make this right. I just want you to explain to me why you won't?" Suddenly he changes his tune and offers me a free lemonaid or frosty. I advise that I already have frostys and that I want something comped. He ends up taking two Jr cheeseburgers off. (About $3.00)
I am not a person who complains often, or expects handouts, and I also understand this is a fast food place. However, at this point I really feel that my meal should have been completely comped for all the trouble it caused. You go out and feed your family this garbage (delicious delicious garbage), to make everything a little easier for a night; you don't expect to be embarrassed and blown off at a drive through window. This could have easily been avoided, and my first order would never have been wasted at a loss to the branch, had the manager just run the card on another machine...
Read moreI have been coming to this location for over a year now, and they can't seem to be able to get their scanner for the drive-thru to work for the Wendy's app. This is the first inconvenience for customers considering that the employees fight with you about honoring an in app promotion due to their lack of getting something fixed and then you can't earn the points for using the app either. I will never return to this location again. I'm not sure who their "new manager" as she claims herself to be is in the morning, but she is completely unprofessional and lacks any customer service skills. On the 1 day, aka Friday mornings, when she is actually there since I come to this location every morning and deal with an older black gentleman. She's so quick to tell me that she is not going to honor the BOGO breakfast sandwich or $2 off that their app is offering to me and all customers in Sierra Vista, AZ area since offers are based off of your location. The moment I pull up to the drive-thru window, she is combative. She is extremely aggressive and rude, not trying to provide good customer service and / or resolutions. She only adds to the problem. This is the only Wendy's in Sierra Vista, and they should just be shut down due to their employees' lack of care, customer service and the wait time is always outrageous. Yes, I request fresh chicken because otherwise they will give you cold and old chicken. However, that doesn't take 20+ minutes to make 1 or sometimes 2 breakfast biscuits. If all of the people there don't like their job and are miserable enough that it shows in how they move and interact with customers, then they need to quit or be fired and go work in an entirely different environment. All of them need to be trained on customer service skills because that's how poorly they treat people. Run away as far as possible from this place unless you love being treated like...
Read moreMy husband and & I had been on the motorcycle the entire first half of the day, with the exception of fuel stops. We were leisurely riding for his bday that day. When we arrived at Wendy's in Sierra Vista, we were STARVING. My first impression of the place was confusion on whether or not they we were open. 🤔😀 The drive-thru was going but the dining room was 100% DESERTED! The ONLY cars in their lot seemingly belonged to the restaurant employees on duty that evening. Furthermore, all the cars, as well, "chose" to huddle together on one side of the lot, making one SERIOUSLY wonder: "Twilight Zone maybe...?? 😳" Went in, ordered and sat down. I ordered (2) JR. Bacon Cheeseburgers, a 5-piece Chicken nuggets & small drink. My husband ordered the same. The employees working were extremely pleasant young guys and girls. I gave this establishment THREE stars ✳✳✳, which STILL may be too much IMO, due to the basic overall QUALITY and TASTE of the meal. First, the burger just was NOT good-tasting. In fairness, I'm not certain WHY I did not like this. I have ALWAYS LOVED this Sandwhich. Weighing a whole 105 lbs., I STILL ordered TWO dor myself. I wiyld have eaten both. But they just had a very.."OFF" taste. Rather than chance it, I stopped. My nuggets? So my chicken nuggets were some of the most awful tasting chicken nuggets...or chicken in GENERAL!!!.... I have ever had. The problem here was that, although they WERE (somewhat ··· ) hot, they had an extremely undercooked gamey bird taste. If you can imagine..well 🤢. I was highly disappointed. The best part of my meal came when I decided to order french fries and a Chocolate Frosty (to dip my fries in, NATURALLY!!). Otherwise, no other complaints really. This very well coulda been a one time deal. This does happen and shouldnt keep customers from trying it...
